I found a nail in my tire late Saturday and thanks to Mavis, had it repaired by 10:15 AM Sunday morning! That’s right - SUNDAY! Emergencies always seem to happen at the most inconvenient times, but fortunately, Mavis has Sunday hours to accommodate! I utilized the online scheduling system which was simple to use, and received a timely follow up call to confirm my concern and scheduling. I was warmly greeted immediately upon entering, and as someone who was waiting while their vehicle was being serviced, I appreciated the clean, open waiting area. Colin, who serviced my vehicle, did a wonderful job, and he completed the job before I could even finish my coffee! A sincere thank you to Zachary in the office, for his professionalism and integrity! Thank you, Mavis, for saving my birthday weekend!

I had a 12:00 PM appointment at Mavis for tire replacement and dropped my vehicle off on time. I was told the service would be completed within about an hour. Instead, after waiting more than 1.5 hours, I received a call informing me that they could not begin the work because they needed the wheel lock key and could not locate it. What is most frustrating is not that the wheel lock key was needed—that is understandable—but that it took over 90 minutes for anyone to discover and communicate this issue. Had the technicians inspected the vehicle promptly, I could have been notified immediately and avoided wasting a significant portion of my day. Instead, my car appears to have sat untouched while I was left under the impression that the work was actively being performed. The customer service experience made the situation even worse. The front desk employee, Troy, came across as aloof, dismissive, and unprofessional throughout the interaction. Rather than showing urgency or concern for the inconvenience caused, he seemed indifferent to the fact that the appointment schedule had not been honored and that my time had been wasted. Appointments should mean something. If Mavis cannot start work anywhere near the scheduled time or communicate issues promptly, customers should be told upfront rather than left waiting. This was one of the most frustrating tire service experiences I've had, and based on this experience, I would not recommend this location.

On 5/2/2026 I had my car inspected. Some repairs were needed for the state safety inspection, including a valve cover gasket because it was leaking oil. I made the mistake of trusting Mavis and it's workers to do a sufficient job to pass the safety inspection. A week later I checked the oil and noticed it was dry. I assumed I made a huge mistake somewhere along the line and let this happen. I filled the oil with about 4 quarts and planned to change the oil a week later. When I got the car ready for the oil change I noticed a huge mess in the engine compartment with still wet oil. Obviously not an old mess. As you can see in the pictures, the baby blue gasket is clearly visible and the oil is oozing out from that location. The valve cover is not even sandwiched tight. How does the worker NOT NOTICE that there is something wrong? Today is 6/4/2026. Earlier this week I made an appointment, for today at 5pm, to change this gasket as per the warrantee, in this case for grossly incorrect installation. I arrived with the vehicle at 3pm. I always try to give others some breathing room when I can. It is usually appreciated and reflects in the working relationship. At 7pm I called for an update. I was assured that the part was on the way. I walked there and arrived at 730pm. The valve gasket still was not on site. Was arriving 2 hours prior to the appointment not enough? Was 4 hours not enough time to get the part? I was told to come back tomorrow for the new repair. 1. Are other customers finding the need to inspect the work after Mavis has finished? 2. The time that Mavis and I have spent on this is ridiculous. Do I ask for a refund? This is a 1 hour job for me in my driveway. 1 and a half, MAYBE 2, if I include the time to go to 1 or 2 auto stores to get the part. 3. If the oil is leaking, are parts of the engine not receiving correct lubrication? Does the warrantee cover those issues? 4. How did the original worker verify the fix worked in the first place? Was there oil? Did all my oil leak out in that time? OR was it already dry and no one looked? All this probably boils down to customer not being able to trust Mavis. We should all verify the work conducted by Mavis.
