  I would not recommend Safelite based on my experience. I paid over $200 to have two windshield cracks repaired with resin, but it appears that only one crack was partially filled, and even that repair was not completed properly. When I returned to have the work inspected, I was told that the machine controls how much resin is applied and that the technicians have no control over it. As someone who has worked with resin before, I know that resin is designed to flow and fill voids when applied correctly. Instead of addressing my concerns, the staff seemed more interested in blaming the equipment than taking responsibility for the quality of the repair. What disappointed me most was the customer service at the Bedford location. The staff were dismissive and rude when I questioned the repair. In contrast, the Johnstown location was much more professional and helpful, and they genuinely tried to connect me with the right people. I understand that mistakes happen—we’re all human. What matters is how a company responds when a customer brings a concern to their attention. Rather than acknowledging the possibility that the repair may not have been done correctly, I felt my concerns were brushed aside. Based on my experience, I would not spend the money on this service again. If you’re comfortable doing basic repairs yourself, you may want to research windshield repair kits and consider that option before paying for a repair that may not meet your expectations.

  Absolutely the easiest way to have your windshield replaced. Had constant updates on the status as to the location of the technician and how long the process would take. Highly recommend Safelight!
