- MDMatthew Dibert (Darth Dingo)May 13, 20261.0I'm not usually one to complain, but I think it's merited this time. I have had my oil changed the past two times at Jiffy Lube. After the first visit, I noticed something hanging underneath my car that looks like insulation of some sort. Not a huge deal, but annoying seeing as how that it's located right where my oil drain plug is. I put it off until my next oil change and asked my wife to address it during her visit. We ended up paying extra for someone to "take a look at my skid plate" just for me to look under my car and see the same thing hanging down when she returned home. From what I have researched, it sounds like Jiffy lube removed the cover for my drain plug, and then never put it back on. Now the insulation on the underside is my skid plate is hanging out of that now exposed access hole. Completely unprofessional. Especially if I'm paying a premium for work that wasn't even done.

Called explained what my car was doing got a quote on break pad 229 assuming that was all around my car.get there they say 229 was like ok fair for breaks all around never once did they say it was only for front. Then showed me front rotors were rough looking then said almost 500. Was like ok front rotors and break pads all around whatever my car will be fixed. Get in car start driving they didnt fix it. Called manager said come back. Then explained price was only for front. I said this is a scam right now at advanced auto if you buy rotors break pads are free. So leaving I called better business bureau told them exact same thing as here. Then went to advanced auto. Bought rotors for 65 that came with front breaks and fixed myself. Never go to jiffy lube they scam you.
