Getting a Volvo has been a dream of my for years. I went in to lease my first Volvo and the initial price on a lease that I got was insanely high. Of course, sales people are friendly and was told of a potential shortage of the vehicle which was a lie. Asking me how much I want to pay which is their first deceptive tactic. Eventually I was able to drop down my monthly payment by calling another dealership and getting a price that was significantly lower than what I got at Scott. Ruined experience for a first time Volvo owner. Lesson learned. Next Volvo i will shop around and go to another dealer. Money hungry sales people. I also had taken my Volvo in for a software update and the "technician" that completed the job covered my white leather steering wheel in dirty grease. If you receive a clean vehicle why not return it the same way.

I could have gotten a plug in hybrid or an xc90 for the price I was paying with you guys. I decided to terminate my lease 2 years early and fortunately did not have to pay too much for the early termination. Screwed me with pricing once and made it a frustrating experience. I'll shop elsewhere next time I get my EX60.

Wow. I don’t even know where to begin. What you and your team did today went far beyond anything I could have expected, and I feel compelled to make sure you truly understand the impact it had.
Earlier today, I was scheduled to be a guest speaker on a McLean & Company webinar with hundreds of CHROs from around the globe. It was a highly anticipated session—heavily promoted, high stakes, and an important opportunity for me to represent both myself and their organization. With about 40 minutes to spare, fully prepared, I stepped out briefly to Madle’s Ace Hardware just five minutes from my home.
When I returned to the car—with only 20 minutes before going live—my brand-new Volvo EX30 Cross Country would not unlock. Not with the key fob, not with the key card, nothing. My phone was locked inside the car. I was completely cut off, with no way to call anyone, no way to alert the organizers, and the very real possibility that I would simply not show up to a global event that hundreds of people were already joining. The panic was immediate and overwhelming.
In a last-ditch effort, I got a ride home and, with only minutes to spare before the session began, I called your front desk from my iPad with Wi-Fi calling. I explained the situation as quickly as I could, knowing I wouldn’t be able to stay on the phone and the event was literally about to start as I was speaking. I shared my wife’s number and hung up, hoping—honestly, not expecting—that somehow, someone might help. I knew this wasn’t your responsibility. This wasn’t your problem to solve.
And yet—you solved it.
What happened next speaks volumes. Someone from your team contacted my wife. Someone came to my home. In the middle of my presentation, during a brief pause, I opened the door to find a member of your team standing there—calm, focused, and ready to help. With total professionalism, he simply said, “I need your keys—we’re going to take care of this.” In that moment, the wave of relief I felt is hard to put into words.
I went back to my session and didn’t hear another word until hours later, when my wife told me, “Scott Volvo took care of it—your car is in the driveway.” And sure enough, when I stepped outside at 5:30 PM, there it was—perfectly parked. My phone and keys were carefully placed on the porch.
Richard, this is extraordinary service. Not expected. Not required. But delivered anyway.
You and your team didn’t just help—you went out of your way, over a meaningful distance, to step in during a moment of real urgency and make sure your customer was taken care of. That level of ownership, responsiveness, and care is incredibly rare.
We’ve purchased three cars from you over the past five years. After today, there’s no question—you have customers for life.

Extremely disappointed with the service here. We walked in ready to engage, but the salesperson greeted us with a major attitude. They didn't ask a single question to understand what we were looking for, even after we told them we already have a Volvo and wanted an additional car. They gave bare-minimum, one-word answers to our questions, can't even remember the name of the old guy... It felt like we were an inconvenience to them. Definitely taking our business elsewhere which is a shame because we love our XC60 and we're looking for potentially an XC90.

We’ve owned Volvos for over 20 years and had previously purchased from the same dealer and salesperson. In our minds there was no one better. Unfortunately, when our longtime salesperson was no longer there, we felt a little lost during our recent search for an XC90.
After finding the car we thought we wanted, we visited Scott Volvo. From our first interaction with Kevin, the sales manager — even though it was brief — we immediately felt comfortable. He came across as genuine and just one of the good guys.
A few days later we returned and Kevin introduced us to Howard, our salesperson. We were deciding between two XC90s, and I’ll be the first to admit we are openly a bit high-maintenance buyers. Howard never once made us feel rushed. He set us up to drive both vehicles and even accommodated our request to have one washed while we drove the other. Then he washed the second one while we were test driving so we could see both vehicles in the sunlight and really evaluate the exterior colors.
Howard spent time explaining the differences in the stereo options and thoughtfully answered what felt like an endless list of questions from us. He was probably the most knowledgeable, level-headed, and kind salesperson we’ve ever worked with. He took the time needed to make us comfortable and truly build a relationship.
We ultimately purchased a Platinum Gray XC90 Ultimate, and Howard then walked us through every screen, function, and feature in the vehicle. It honestly felt like he helped design the system — that’s how knowledgeable he was.
Throughout the entire process we felt completely at ease. When we met with Mike in finance, the experience continued the same way: kind, knowledgeable, patient, and absolutely no high-pressure tactics. Just another good guy.
We truly appreciate the professional and thoughtful way Kevin, Howard, and Mike handled our purchase. At no point did we feel like a number — we felt like people, the way buying a car used to be. The relationship clearly mattered to them, and it made a real difference for us.
As long as these gentlemen are at Scott Volvo, there’s no question this will be the only place we buy our Volvos going forward.
