Adam from 15th and Tilghman went above and beyond for me today. My belt came off and I pulled into their parking lot. I was stuck there with my son. He came out and helped me when he didn’t have to. I am so grateful for his kindness.

This review is specifically for whoever helped us on December 6, 2024 to replace our car battery and then today, my conversation with the district manager, Edison.
We had our car battery replaced at this location on 12/6/2024. Despite the battery having a 4 year warranty, the car battery died this past weekend. We have moved from Allentown and now live 1.5 hours away, so we took our car to the autozone near us. When the Fairless Hills autozone looked up my husband’s information/phone number, they could not find any records that we had purchased the car battery at the Allentown location. They suggested that likely this location had input the wrong phone number and they had no way of finding that transaction or the warranty history. They directed us to call Allentown location to complain/find the transaction.
I called this Allentown location and spoke with a gentleman who could not help me from the transaction history. He stated he could not find any record of the transaction, but I had explained to him that I had found the transaction on my credit card statement from December 2024 that literally showed the date of purchase, Autozone#4608 Allentown, PA and the cost was $269.69. I offered to send him a copy of that statement. He asked me if I still had the receipt of the purchase and I responded, “Of course not. That purchase was completed in 2024.” I asked him if he could go back into the record of transactions from 2024 and he said, “No sorry, we can only see transactions from 2026.” He said I would have to come to the Allentown location to resolve the issue. I had already told him that I live 1.5 hours away now and can’t drive all the way to Allentown for a problem that this location had caused. Again, he explained how he couldn’t help me and told me to call the regional manager of the location that we currently live in.
I called the Autozone regional manager in the area that I currently live in and she literally laughed on the phone and said I needed to speak with the district manager of the Allentown region to find the transaction and get the warranty information. She did not have the phone number of the district manager to give me, but gave me the number of the regional manager in Allentown.
I finally call another Allentown Autozone just to get the number of the district manager, Edison. I explained the situation to Edison on the phone and he immediately got angry and said “First of all, we keep all of the receipts.” I hadn’t even finished the story yet to correct him and let him know that the team in December 2024 clearly wrote down the wrong phone number and likely linked this purchase to someone else’s account. I told him I was currently at the Autozone in Fairless Hills and he continues to be super arrogant and his next statement was, “how am I supposed to help you if you’re not even at the store.” I’m literally trying to explain the situation and this district manager isn’t even trying to listen or understand, so I went into the Autozone at Fairless Hills for him to speak with the manager at that location.
Mind you, by the end of this, I had talked to SEVEN different people who were all giving me the run around and claiming that it wasn’t their responsibly to figure out a solution to this problem, despite my car still having a dead battery.
In the end, we had the issue resolved at the Fairless Hills location. The battery was completely dead and wasn’t even able to be charged. We had to replace it completely.
Some feedback - the Allentown District Manager, Edison, really needs to work on his customer service skills and there needs to be more accountability on this location to have accurate records of purchases. If I’m expected to keep a receipt from 2024, then they should also be able to look up a transaction with an item number in their system from 2024.
