  I went to Alamo Rental Car In Lehigh Valley Airport to get a car that my employer had "pre booked" for me. Now please keep in mind that Iam a CDLA driver and just wanted to get home for the memorial day weekend, but when I got there, after having checked in, they told me that my card was declined, even though, the fact that they told me it would be $214, when I booked, I had over 300 on my card. But they told me I needed $500 on my card, so I hurried and made an express payment, which also didn't go through because they were rushing me. But the thing that bothered me the most was that the one girl there at the counter that was helping me, really was NOT helping at all but instead made me feel really judged. Idk if it was because I was not very well dressed because I had just gotten off work or because she THOUGHT I didn't have the money, even though I KNOW I make 4 times what she makes....it really made me feel uncomfortable. Hopefully she sees this and learns how to deal with future customers and not just judge.

  Very poor communication at return. I told the agent I was returning my car and renting another immediately. She took the keys, processed the return, then told me there were no cars available. Even Budget’s staff were surprised she didn’t warn me beforehand. I was left stranded, had to Uber home, and rent from another company. Very disappointing.

  I had a confirmed reservation (booked two months in advance) for a midsize luxury SUV at the Lehigh Valley Airport location, and this was easily one of the worst rental experiences I’ve had. I even completed accelerated check-in ahead of time, but when I arrived at 8:00 PM, I was told they didn’t have my vehicle class available. The only options offered were a Camry or a pickup truck—neither of which fit my needs. No one contacted me ahead of time to warn me, despite having my reservation and information on file. I drove 45 minutes to the airport expecting my confirmed reservation to be honored, only to be sent home with nothing and told to call back in the morning. The next day was no better still no solution, no urgency, and still no vehicle available. Because of this, I had to scramble to book a last-minute rental with another company at a much higher price. My trip was delayed by 12 hours, and the entire situation was completely avoidable with basic communication or proper inventory management. A reservation should mean something. This felt like there was zero accountability. I’ve used Alamo specifically for their SUV options in the past, but after this experience, I will not be returning. Extremely disappointing.
