On a road trip got a chip in our windshield, stopped into Safelite, Santa Fe to have it repaired. They said if repair failed we would be credited the repair cost toward replacement of windshield. Got home to CA and the repair failed and got a full horizontal crack across the windshield. Had it replaced at Safelite in CA. We were told credit has to be processed thru Santa Fe shop. Santa Fe doesn’t answer their phone and manager will not return our calls after numerous attempts. They aren’t honoring their guarantee. So I would not recommend this company.

They would get a 0 if they could. I had my windshield replacement scheduled on a Thursday. It was taken halfway out and was told they would try to come back the next day (Friday) I received a call stating that they couldn't come out but they scheduled me for Monday. Monday came I received a call that the technician was out, they rescheduled me for Wednesday. Wednesday came they called and the technician was out again. So they rescheduled for Thursday morning. They were finally able to come and complete the job on Thursday. But I was without a vehicle for a week. Had that been my only vehicle I would've been screwed. They did little to compensate for the inconvenience. I will not be using them or recommending them. Hopefully other people had better experiences

The service technician did a great job once he finally started working on my 2024 Subaru Outback. I saw many autos come and go after my appointment time. It took over two hours before he finally got to my car. It only took 45 minutes once he started on my windshield replacement. The technician also had to calibrate my camera after the replacement was installed. The waiting room was pretty bare bones. There was no water, coffee or bathroom. There was a restaurant about 10 minutes away via walking. Overall it was a good experience.

If I could give absolutely zero stars I would.
I have spoken to probably 5 different customer care reps. I have tried to reach cooperate with no responses, calling my local store? lol good luck.
The story changes every single time I speak to someone about my appointments. I still have one window to have repaired next week on the 7th and nobody that said they would contact me has regarding my window payment . I made it clear I shouldn’t even be paying for this window as this rate . I was told twice via Facebook messenger by safelite someone would reach out, they haven’t.
Absolutely do not recommend .

This was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had.
From the start, I made it clear to both insurance and Safelite that I wanted OEM glass—the same as what came on my vehicle. Despite that, this location initially ordered aftermarket glass anyway.
After I pushed back through my insurance, they switched to OEM, but could not provide any ETA. I then received an automated message saying my glass had arrived and to come in for my appointment. When I showed up, the front desk had no record of a valid appointment and confirmed the OEM glass had not even arrived yet. There was no manager available to speak with in person.
From there, communication completely broke down. Over the next 7 weeks:
I called Safelite corporate multiple times and was told the glass was “ordered” but with no ETA
I repeatedly tried contacting the Santa Fe location but could not reach a live person
Even Safelite corporate was unable to get ahold of this location for updates
Meanwhile, my vehicle had a shattered rear window and cracked windshield and was not safe to drive.
After 7 weeks with no answers, I contacted my local Audi dealership directly. After providing my VIN, they told me they could have OEM glass in 2–3 business days. At that point, I canceled through Safelite and moved forward with the dealership.
Between the lack of communication, incorrect ordering, automated scheduling without parts in stock, and inability to provide basic updates, this experience was extremely frustrating and unacceptable.
If you care about proper parts and timely service, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
