    Had issue with vehicle on road north. Stopped in for quick minute and service crew reset module got me back on road. Courteous and helpful. Thanks

    I had initially given a 5 star review, for Roy, who we purchased the vehicle with. His service was top tier and I have no complaints with him. As for the title department, that is a whole different story. I’m very disappointed with my experience at Amigo Chevrolet. I purchased my vehicle on October 16, 2025, and was told that my license plates and registration would be handled by the dealership. Months went by with little communication or updates. I made multiple attempts to contact them, but I did not receive clear answers or proper assistance except for, “we called them and sent a check” or “They stated they would mail it to you” It’s April 2026, we have been using temporary tags since then. I also want to reiterate that I have all of this documented, including calls recorded. Because of their lack of follow-through, I had to go to the Texas DMV myself to resolve the issue and obtain my registration—something that should have been taken care of by the dealership, as was stated when we purchased the vehicle. The lack of communication and accountability made this a very frustrating experience. I expected a much higher level of customer service, especially for such an important purchase. I would not recommend this dealership based on my experience and I would not go back. I have filed a complaint with the BBB, in hopes that this would be a warning for other out of state purchasers.     DO NOT GO THERE! Unless you want to be lied to and stolen from. The people at this dealership are thieves! And if you need help do not call John Chavez which is the general manager there. You would think that the person that has highest position at an establishment such as a dealership would be able to resolve the issues that arise. Instead he was EXTREMELY unprofessional, yelled at me, lied to me, telling me he would give us our money back from a downpayment for a car that we returned because it broke down on us. He told us he would return our money once their credit card machine came back up. It’s been over a month and I guess it’s still broken because me and my family never got our money back. It’s a shame a business like this is still running with management like that. Shame on the owners have employees like John Chavez! It’s illegal what they did and completely fraudulent! Funny that even on your response you guys are lying once again! I have concrete proof that your dealership still owes us money from the downpayment. And also, my records show that the car broke down and your dealership hired a towing company to pick it up from where it broke down. I’ve read all your reviews and you offer solutions to all your other reviewers and to us you offer no solution to our issue. No accountability whatsoever! No one wonder your business is not rated with the Better Business Bureau. They do not want to endorse your dealership because of all the issues your dealership has. The owner should change your name to “Enemy Chevrolet” because your dealership is no “Amigo” to the community! I will continue to advocate for what is right and what is wrong, you people are wrong!
