I used another local shop to get an alignment after some suspension repairs, and when I got my truck back it was worse then when I took it in! I had pretty much the whole right side replaced, everything but the strut and spring. The mechanic did his best to eyeball the alignment since he didn’t have an alignment machine, So I took it to Another shop to have an alignment done, even though when I got it back from the mechanic, it didn’t feel like it was pulling, But just to be safe, I got It done.I left that shop with it pulling hard to the right hand side, the steering wheel was crooked, About 20° canted to the right, AND when I stopped to inspect it, parked with the steering wheel straight, I walked about 30 feet away, And I could visually see that one of the tires was straight, But the other Side was visibly toed out (pointing to the side). HOW they managed to mess up an alignment that bad is beyond me. I didn’t want them touching anything after I complained about it. So here’s the IMPORTANT PART. I took it in to Point S and let them know what my issues were. They were very busy. People Sitting outside, Some people sitting in the lobby, The parking lot was full. The girl at the counter was very friendly, And took note of every detail I gave her about what was wrong with the alignment. She listened to my complaints and assured me that they would do what they could to fix it. They had my truck done much faster than I was expecting (I did have an appointment) AND what a great feeling it was To drive out of their parking lot. Everything felt 100% better! My steering wheel is straight again, It doesn’t pull to the side, And of course, best of all when I look at my truck from the front end, it doesn’t look like it has a lazy eye with one tire pointing in the wrong direction!!! Quick fast and friendly, what more could you ask for? I think I found my new tire shop for repairs, alignments and tires! I usually buy my tires from Discount Tire in Santa Fe because they are cheaper than the competition, plus they have an unbeatable warranty. If point S can match their pricing and warranty, they will have 100% of my business from now on! The only downside is, they are usually pretty busy, but I’m starting to think that that’s because people would rather wait to have their work done at Point S then to go to any of the other tire shops in town and get sub-par work done like I did. The tech who ran the alignment rack at Garcia Tire across from Dairy Queen that day should be fired for letting a truck roll out of the shop with the alignment so out of spec that you can literally SEE IT with your own two eyes!! I’ll be sticking to POINT S for any local work in the future!! THANK YOU GUYS FOR THE GOOD WORK!!!
