  By far the worst Maverick I have ever been to the nasty lady working at the counter was beyond nasty and rude for no reason especially in front of children. I have always loved these gas station because everyone is so nice and respectful and inviting and always clean but at this one something should be done because that type of behavior is completely unnecessary and it doesn't cost anything to be nice it was so bad my kids couldn't believe how rude and nasty she was (August 12th at around 6:30)

  Maverick doesn't disappoint in Clovis New Mexico. New to the area in 2026 the facility is top notch, all the pumps for work great and the bathrooms are very clean which is wonderful. The burritos are really good and the coffee is always good and ready to go. The donuts and pastries are ready for you to grab a brown bag and fill it up for the road!

  Whoever the lady is working the cash register on June 24 at about 5 PM is it about one of the rudest people I’ve ever met. My friend came in and prepaid $100 for gas and she was not informed that there was a prepaid code on there and that’s how you get your gas so the receipt was thrown away right away. When I went back to ask if pump three was running she says that she didn’t know, but who else am I supposed to ask? lol. I say ma’am I just paid for the gas and she says it’s on the ticket and I asked her if I can get another authorization code and she told me that I have to go into the trash and that’s the only way. Her tone was trash. I immediately said that is not the only way and she proceeded to tell me that I wasn’t going to do her like that, even though she was the one taking a Tone with me because I was unaware of how they prepay gas with codes. It was ridiculous and I asked for my money back and she told me that I could come back in the morning and I told her no I’m getting my money back right now. I guess since she realized she was crossing line, she hastily turned my money and proceeded to try to tell me how things work here in a very berating tone. Anyway, it’s unfortunate. They have employees that take their baggage to work and take it out on other people. Be aware.
