  No after hours key drop at this location makes them not a practical choice for business or personal travel.

  I had a very disappointing experience at the Enterprise location in Carlsbad, NM. I drove all the way from Hobbs for this reservation, only to be turned away after arriving at the scheduled time. The lack of professionalism and customer service was extremely disappointing... I made a reservation the day before and was told to come in at 11:30 a.m. I drove from Hobbs to Carlsbad specifically to pick up the vehicle, when I arrived on time the employee an old man rudely told me, “I don’t have any cars.” When I reminded him that I had a reservation, he responded aggressively, saying, I’m telling you, I don’t have any cars!”... etc I understand that vehicle availability can change and that sometimes reservations cannot be fulfilled, However, customers should still be treated with professionalism and respect,Instead of offering an explanation or trying to help, I was spoken to in a very rude manner, if a reservation cannot be honored, the least a business can do is communicate the situation professionally and respectfully. Sadly, that was not my experience at this Enterprise location.

  Great rental experience. No cars available on short notice in southeast New Mexico, yet Bob in the Enterprise office in Carlsbad found us a vehicle and we were able to get back home to Utah. Thanks to Cody in the Layton, Utah office as well.

  I flew in for a work trip on 7/27 and came to pick up my reserved car. There was at least 6 people ahead of me when I got there. There was only one person working the desk and one person cleaning and processing cars. There system was always down that day. I was there a total of 2 hours waiting for a car to be available for me. So it was unfortunate that so many issues came up at once that created a long wait for everyone. But Joel was amazing at handling all the craziness he kept running outside to help the other employee clean and process the cars to get them ready for all of us waiting. The phones rang off the hook and he dealt with all of it, gave us updates as often as he could and dealt with all of it so professionally. He deserves a shoutout and possibly a raise 😉

  Very happy with the staff and vehicle. The entire process about as smooth as possible. Will definitely be back when I’m in need of another rental. Vehicle was very clean and clearly well maintained.
