Jiffy lube is THE place I rely on when it comes to my car care. They are knowledgeable, and trustworthy, with the goal of my safety as their priority. I’ve used them in Indiana, Arizona, and New Mexico, and all were genuinely kind, and clean establishments.

I originally brought my car in during June 2026 to have the water pump replaced. The repair cost me over $1,000. Shortly afterward, the new water pump began leaking. When I returned, the manager explained that the replacement water pump was defective. He handled the situation professionally, replaced it at no additional charge, and even mentioned that he tightened a few other components while he had the vehicle apart. I truly appreciated his honesty and customer service, and I was happy to continue doing business there. Unfortunately, my experience after that went downhill. I noticed there were several newer, younger technicians working in the shop. After another issue developed, I brought my car back because it was shaking when braking and there was a clicking noise behind the dashboard. I was told the problem had been repaired, and I paid another repair bill of over $1,000. When I picked up my car, I immediately discovered that my brake lights no longer worked. I returned the vehicle, and it was determined that the switch controlling the brake lights had been broken during the repair. Again, the manager was courteous and made sure it was repaired, but this damage occurred while the vehicle was in their care. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the end of it. I also found that the trim around my headlight switch on the dashboard had been broken, and my seats had been damaged. When I brought these concerns to the staff, I was initially told they couldn’t guarantee the damage happened at the shop and suggested it could be an electrical issue. I disagreed because these problems did not exist before my vehicle was serviced. After looking at the brake lights again, they eventually found they had left a wire loose, which confirmed that at least part of the problem was caused during their repair. What is even more frustrating is that the original reason I brought my car in the second time was never actually fixed. My car was still shaking when I braked, and the clicking noise behind the dashboard remained. Not only did I leave with the same problems I paid over $1,000 to have repaired, but I also left with additional damage that wasn’t there before. I understand that mistakes can happen in any repair shop, and I appreciate the manager’s willingness to help. However, it seems like some of the newer technicians may be rushing through repairs without paying close attention to the quality of their work. My vehicle has come back from multiple visits with new problems that were not there before, while the original issues remained unresolved. After spending well over $2,000, I expected my vehicle to be repaired—not returned with the same problems plus broken brake lights, damaged dashboard light switch, damaged seats, and additional trips back to the shop. I sincerely hope the business places a stronger emphasis on quality control and careful workmanship because customers should not have to pay for repairs that don’t fix the problem and create new ones instead. I wanted to share my experience so others can make an informed decision. My car was running great before I brought it in and now I need to take it in somewhere else for damages they created. Which will cost me more money.
