Had a tech visit my home. First tech never arrived when he said he will. Second tech arrived last thing in the day. Chip spread to a full on cracked windshield. Tech said can't fix it. Have been hounding me for months for payment even though they never did anything. Do not trust immoral business practices.

Schedule an appointment for glass repair at home. Repair was scheduled to occur between 7:30am an 12:00pm.
At 1:30 pm I had not heard from Safelite nor had the technician arrived.
By then attempted to call Safelite to no avail after numerous attempts to reach a human being I finally reached somebody at corporate.
After a long conversation, lots of time on hold, I was transferred to another individual who once again placed me on hold an attempt to find their technician. This individual informed me that she had spoken directly to the technician and that the technician had not started their day until noon, while the previous person had told me that the technician had informed their manager they would not be able to make it to my residence.
This individual then opened a formal complaint for me and advise that this would be forwarded to the district manager and that this individual would be in touch with me.
I have no idea if either stories told me were true nor any way to find out if they were true.
The following morning, I received a call from the local store manager, who said he noticed that the technician had failed to service my vehicle And asked if he could reschedule me.
I informed the individual that the only way they could reschedule me is if they gave me a fixed time that the technician would be here he told me he was not capable of doing that that it was out of his hand, but I’d be happy to schedule a time for me to come to his facility to have my repair done.
Having already wasted six hours of my time there is no way that I would give my business to that facility and I shall lobby, friends and family to never use Safelite auto glass.
Amazingly, a simple phone call could a prevented all of us and the fact that I have heard nothing from Safelite corporate offices, tells me they don’t really give a crap either.

From scheduling my appointment with the Customer Service Representative to the completion of the job by my technician, I was treated with kindness and the utmost respect. They both made everything so easy, and the Customer Service Representative even went as far as filing the insurance claim on my behalf. I highly recommend Safelite!!!

Ok, I try not to be one of those people that just roasts people on public reviews over trivial stuff, and I realize stuff happens that is beyond the control of businesses. I get it. That said, I’m done with Safelite Glass.
I scheduled a mobile install a couple days out and paid in advance. My time slot was 12:00 -
4:30. I get it, new windshields require camera calibration, etc and can take a while, ok. I take the day off work to get some stuff done around the house while they do the windshield.
4:30 comes and goes - no calls, no texts, no emails. I figure they forgot about me and let my daughter take the car. 4:45 my phone filters an unknown call, no voicemail, 4:50 the installer finally shows up.
I get that workers get behind - giving somebody a 4.5 window is BS, no call/no show is BS.
You can’t call the local shop direct, you have to go through the corporate call center who wants to reschedule. Why when a company wastes 5 hours of your time and won’t even call to let you know they’re not going to make it, would I reschedule?
If that’s the business model, you should get somebody in there that knows how to schedule installers time and routes to ensure you can perform the work scheduled, and try try staying in touch with the costumers burning their time waiting for you.
I’ll usually give a place a second try if they call and apologize for wasting your time, that’s not what they do, I guess it’s take it or leave it at Safelite.
Cancelled the order and going to a local place with good reviews.

I brought my vehicle into the Jefferson location and it was a seamless experience with my insurance. Jackie was my tech and did a great job repairing two windshield chips. They also vacuumed out my car and cleaned my windows (much appreciated after a road trip). I also left my water bottle there and when I called (the central call line), the man I spoke to got in touch with the Jefferson location to make sure it was indeed there. Highly recommend.
