  sales team Okay, finance extremely unorganized. doesn't return calls. when I gave them my mailing address they continued to use the address I asked them not to use. So I don't have my new loan info, license plate, etc... and they didn't pay my trade in in full so I received a late payment notice. even when speaking with them you can tell they aren't really paying attention to your requests. they tried to sell me some big new camper person package, I said no. but when I wanted to do a walk through of my camper they said my brand new camper was "as is" because I didn't buy the package that included a bunch of crap I didn't need. so they rushed me through walking through my camper. when I found issues later they were unwilling to assist until I came into the store and in front of the finance guy. they care about quantity of sales rather than quality of service.

  The staff wasn’t very friendly. It seemed like the two who we spoke with didn’t want to be there. We were also shown a brand new 2027 camper, which clearly had been in a collision of some sort and he was trying to say that nothing was wrong with it the door wouldn’t open. He had to go back-and-forth inside and back out almost 3 times to get the door open. The outside doors were not opening on the Jayco either to the storage units. A hubcap was missing, and when we walked in, we noticed that the wall in the master bed was completely torn off and he was just acting like he didn’t see it pretty much all of the campers were very very dirty and then they try to sell you a package that states they will clean it We sat there for about four hours and we’re told that we are not going to be getting an answer because their finance manager was needing to go home Basically, a waste of our time we will not ever be offering our business to this place again.

  This place is an absolute joke. Save yourself the time and go somewhere else. We came in looking to purchase an RV, and from the moment we arrived it was clear that nobody knew what inventory they actually had available. We were assigned a salesman wearing a cowboy hat who walked us around the lot for a short period of time and then completely disappeared. He provided almost no information about the RVs we were looking at, couldn't answer basic questions, and ultimately left us on our own. For nearly an hour and a half, we were forced to walk the lot ourselves trying to locate RVs that matched what we were looking for. There was no assistance, no guidance, and no effort from staff to help us find available inventory. We essentially had to do all of the work ourselves while employees stood by. When I finally spoke with management, the only response I received was a simple "sorry." There was no attempt to make things right, no effort to provide better service, and no accountability for how poorly we were treated. To make matters worse, after I expressed my concerns and told the manager that I personally would not employ someone who treated customers that way, the salesman began mouthing off and acting confrontational rather than taking responsibility for his behavior. I've purchased vehicles before and understand that customer service can vary, but this was by far one of the most unprofessional experiences I've had. If you're serious about buying an RV and expect basic customer service, professionalism, and knowledgeable staff, I would strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere.

  I can't say enough good about the Camping World, Albuquerque Service Department, but I want to tell everyone about a recent experience. I'm the owner of an older model Sprinter van RV. I took it in to Camping World to have them replace the old lead acid battery with a new LiFePO4 in a new location and install a DC to DC charger. I did a lot of research about the proper install, and even contacted the local Victron dealer for advice. I presented all that info to the technician. To make a long story short, something got sideways. When I got home and my RV up on ramps for inspection, I found the install was not what I'd asked or paid for. It worked, but there were issues that left me feeling less than safe using the system. Now, if it were any other large corporate service department, I would have expected a fight to get things resolved. This was quite to the contrary. When I called Camping World and explained what I'd found, Zach, the Service Manager, offered multiple options: bring it back for correction, or have the third-party expert, the Victron dealer, correct it. Either way, he'd make it right. I spoke with the Victron dealer who said he'd be willing to provide technical advice to the Camping World technician, so I took my RV back to Camping World. However, when a scheduling hitch arose, Zach made the decision to just have the expert take care of it. In the end, the upgrade is excellent, the Camping World service department forged a relationship with a local expert, and it's been a net positive all around. Prior to this, I had nothing but excellent service from this team. In this case, there was a breakdown, but it was handled professionally, the problems were corrected, and the service department was improved for the next visit and the next customer. Isn't that what we all expect from costumer service? 10/10

  My purchasing experience at Camping World was extremely disappointing from start to finish. We were excited to purchase our Airstream and had a scheduled appointment at 9:00 a.m. We even arrived early, only to be told to wait. Prior to the purchase date, our salesperson, Mr. G, explained that we would be shown the RV, receive an inspection review, learn how to operate the unit, and be informed of any issues before signing our loan documents. None of that happened. After waiting nearly two hours, someone finally approached us and asked why we had changed our appointment time to sign our loan paperwork—which we never did. We explained that we had been waiting for someone to show us the RV before completing the purchase. Eventually, an employee walked us to the unit and opened the door, but he admitted he had previously sold cars and knew very little about campers. We were essentially left to figure things out on our own. By that point, we were already frustrated and exhausted by the entire process. When we returned inside, we learned that the promised walkthrough and inspection were only included if we purchased Camping World's $3,000 camping package, which consisted of overpriced accessories and services. Since we declined that package, we were told we would not receive the walkthrough or inspection review that had originally been presented as part of the purchase experience. The lack of communication, organization, and customer service was unacceptable. What should have been an exciting milestone turned into a stressful and frustrating experience. I would not recommend Camping World to family or friends who are shopping for an RV, and I will not be returning for future purchases or services. If you're considering buying here, make sure you get every promise in writing and understand exactly what is and is not included before signing.
