One of the worst experiences I’ve had. Two days before coming in, my car’s battery was acting up. I had to jump start it. I came in wanting to have my battery’s health checked, as I was worried it would give up on me again. I waited 5 minutes for a guy to come out and help me. Didn’t know how to open my hood. Didn’t know how to open the rubber battery cover. Whatever. He tests out my battery for me. I don’t believe he really did test it out for me. Proceeded to tell me the cranking health for my battery is bad, and I need it replaced. Did not provide me a receipt to see how bad my battery health was. He gave me a death date for my car, and told me it would would die in a week. Said I need it replaced. I go back inside with the guy and he says for liability reasons, I should just buy the battery for him and that they cannot change it out for me at the store. He said it would be easy and I can look up videos on how to do it, or go somewhere else after I buy the battery. I asked him “How can I replace the battery if you can’t even do it?” All he cared about was making sure I buy a battery from him without actually helping me. I went to an O’Reily the next day. They checked my battery. Nothing was wrong with it.
