I had an incredibly disappointing experience at Team Car Wash. My wife is a monthly member and sent me one of her free car washes to use. When I arrived, the barcode would not scan. Instead of trying to help or offering any kind of solution, I was simply told that if they had nothing to scan, there was nothing they could do.
I stood there waiting for someone to make even the smallest effort to help me, but the customer service was terrible from start to finish. I spoke with the manager, and he was just as unhelpful. It would have taken very little effort to accommodate me one time by looking up my wife’s membership, taking down my name, or verifying my license plate. Instead, they acted like helping a loyal member’s family was somehow impossible.
After leaving, I went to the Team Car Wash down the street at 1075 Route 18. The difference in customer service was night and day. One of the employees took the time to ask me if I had checked the spam folder in my phone’s messaging app. Sure enough, the coupon was sitting there the entire time and was ready to be loaded. That simple suggestion solved the problem in less than a minute. It was such an easy fix that the first location could have suggested instead of immediately telling me there was nothing they could do.
What makes this even more frustrating is that the quality of the car wash is not even that great. If the service and customer experience were exceptional, maybe I could overlook an occasional issue. Instead, the wash itself is average at best, and the customer service is even worse.
This experience was enough for me to ask my wife to cancel her membership and find another monthly car wash. I do not care if it costs more or is farther away. I would rather spend my money at a business that values its customers and knows how to solve simple problems instead of creating them.
The employee at the Route 18 location demonstrated exactly what good customer service looks like by taking a moment to troubleshoot instead of turning me away. Unfortunately, the first location and its manager did the exact opposite. Customer service is about helping people and finding solutions. Based on my experience, that is something the first location seriously needs to improve.

The staff is so friendly and helpful and always available for whatever questions I have. The place is clean and there are always clean towels available for wiping down my car. I feel very comfortable going there and have recommended it to many of my friends and most of my family that drive already belong.

Very disappointed.
This car wash broke my mirror last year and said they weren’t responsible so I had to pay for a new mirror. Last week I noticed I have multiple scratches and they broke my mirror AGAIN. As well as my wheel fender. There’s also scratches all over my driver side door. They said they aren’t responsible for anything.
I told them to cancel my membership because this is ridiculous. I do not recommend this car wash to ANYONE!!!!!!!!

Connor, Edwin, Alex. OUTSTANDING people. Friendly, professional, courteous. I’ll drive 20 minutes out of my way to come here. Love this spot! It used to be a crown car wash and those people were nowhere near as good as the current team at TEAM CARWASH
The guys at the carwash on RT 18 are great. Always polite and super helpful. The carwash itself is great. My cars look amazing after a run through the wash, especially with all this pollen.
The free vacuums have very strong suction and always in working order.
I highly recommend them and the great deals on the monthly plans.
