If you book with enterprise, I hope you don’t have somewhere you need to be!
Reserved a car at this location. On the day I was supposed to pick it up, they first called me in the morning saying they didn’t have cars but I was “first in line” for new cars coming later in the afternoon. But when I called in the afternoon, they said there were no cars left and asked me if I could be “flexible” to pick up later in the week. Due to needing to make it to my own wedding, that wouldn’t work, which seemed to surprise customer service I talked to greatly.
So I asked if I could pick up a car at Newark instead, and was told I could do so at the original price I reserved the car for at East Brunswick by a representative there. This was not honored, and instead I was told I would have to pay over $1000 for a car there I originally reserved for $300. In escalating this issue, I talked to a customer service agent who told me I would be called back by another Enterprise manager within an hour to help me resolve the situation that day.
Surprise: I was never called back. But thankfully I could kinda tell this would happen by that point and booked a great Turo for my trip instead. My wedding was wonderful.
And yes, in the fine print of Enterprise I’m sure it says reservations are not guarantees and prices can’t be honored between locations. Doesn’t change the fact that this was an awful experience and I can leave this review.
To be clear I have nothing against the individual workers, I’m sure Enterprise gives them no “flexibility” to help customers individually.

As I always say, I Never do reviews, but this time customer service was a 0 out of 10.
First off you guys want people to make reservations then you say when people get there that you don’t have the car available!
When you speak to people the day before about your reservation everyone’s on the same page but then when you see them you got something new to say. My first time renting a car and it was the worst experience with the customer service from your location. I don’t wish that on nobody. To Sit there and lie and be OK with it is very scary.
I honestly don’t understand it! Anything you come back with replying to this message just know your location is wrong. And sad to say, I actually have witnesses that came with me so I know for a fact you’re wrong.
THEY DON’T HONOR RESERVATIONS. I put a reservation in and 30 min before I’m set to pick it up they say sorry we don’t have any cars 🤷🏻♂️ if it’s an issue call corporate. That’s great professionalism. A terrible experience and unprofessional manager please avoid at all costs!
I picked up a rental vehicle following an accident, and unfortunately, the car I received was not clean. There were dirty tissues and food on the floor, and the vehicle had an unpleasant odor.
The location was also extremely understaffed on Saturday, with only two employees working, which resulted in a wait of more than an hour. Additionally, when I needed to pick up the rental from the repair shop, Enterprise was unable to provide transportation, so I had to pay for an Uber to get from the shop to the Enterprise location.
This location consistently seems to be understaffed. I strongly recommend hiring additional employees to improve wait times, vehicle cleanliness, and the overall customer experience.

I had a confirmed reservation ahead of time. I reached the location 45 mins before the location closes.
The location was overbooked, completely empathetic about it, but this guy, Jonathan Turchio, asked me to wait as he will be able to accommodate me with a car and I waited for 45 mins until he asked me to leave and says he never asked me to wait in first place!! He even asked me how I was going to pay, Credit or Debit, I answered “Credit”. Forgot Mr. Jonathan? He had
a very rude tone. This not the way to treat the customers, asking them to wait that long and then denying and being rude at the same time. He was very rude. Doesn’t know how to talk to customers.
I had come all the way from California and wanted to rent a car. Completely disappointed with enterprise and especially with this guy Jonathan Turchio.
