- BBBecky BApr 17, 20261.0Pulled into an empty parking lot, a male & female employee were outside the building (one was smoking). Female employee started to walk inside & I was 10 steps behind her. I stood there for a good minute & was never acknowledged by her or the other male employee at the computer monitor. I could see another male employee in the way back of the store moving merchandise. The floors were absolutely DISGUSTING (it’s an auto parts store, I get that…. No excuses though!) IF this review would allow ZERO stars, it would definitely apply to this store! -1000/10 Will NEVER return here 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

HOW DO BRAKES WORK?

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
