Could not recommend Mavis enough!! We picked up a nail and got a flat tire. Went to one place and they said it would take a couple of hours. Called Mavis and they got us in right away and we were out in and out in under 30 minutes. Brian was so kind and extremely helpful. Our mechanic Taylor was thorough and got us back on the road. Roadtrip saved!!

Excellent service. Brian was able to help me out when I was really in a bind. I was driving from RI to ME and I accidentally hit a curb on our restaurant pit stop and got a bubble in my tire. He had his staff stay back so I could quickly get my tires repaired before continuing my 5 hr drive. He also was very well informed and answered all my questions.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at the Newington, NH Mavis location on May 2, 2026. After being assured that all necessary repairs could be completed, I paid $945.44 for inspection-related work. Within days, the vehicle remained unsafe to drive, the check engine light returned, and the same catalytic converter issue I disclosed from the beginning had not been addressed.
After the vehicle was returned to my son, I drove it myself and immediately felt that it was unsafe and drove as though it could crash. I contacted Newington management right away. Their mechanic took the vehicle for a test drive and agreed that something was wrong, not realizing at first that I was the same customer whose vehicle had recently been repaired at that location.
I later learned this location does not perform catalytic converter repairs—information that should have been disclosed before any work was authorized. Communication was poor throughout the process, and management's handling of my concerns was unacceptable. When I requested to speak with the owner, I was refused and instead was spoken to unprofessionally by the manager, Brian.
After escalating the matter to corporate and other Mavis locations, a regional manager acknowledged that this situation should never have occurred and authorized a reinspection elsewhere. That inspection identified additional issues that should have been caught originally.
I have attached proof of the services performed and paid for, along with documentation of mistakes made by Newington Mavis Tires & Brakes that were later corrected at no cost to me. However, despite these corrections, I am now being told that additional repairs are required, by the Seabrook location resulting in further financial burden. Had the vehicle been properly diagnosed and repaired from the outset, these ongoing costs and safety concerns could potentially have been avoided. This experience has left me questioning the quality of the work performed and the reliability of the information provided throughout the repair process.
After spending nearly $1,000 and countless hours, I was left with an improperly repaired vehicle and a loss of trust in this location. I would not recommend the Newington Mavis to anyone.
