  Box truck went in for a windshield left it for tem to do the next day. We pick it up and there was leftover rubber and old glue residue all over the dashboard, front facing camera for insurance purposes was not put back on the windshield, and now keeps falling off and seeing as it is a company vehicle it need a federal inspection sticker which wants put back on the windshield. So needless to say this is the first time we had this issue with them but yet still not happy about the issues,

  Had Safelite to the house to replace a windshield on our 2018 Q7. They ripped up the interior pillar during the install. Only noticed that weeks later when the new windshield cracked. What was weird is it cracked on the left and then a day later cracked on the right. One crack went in about 8” and then up 8”. The other crack came in about the same and then turned down, both at 90 degrees angles. This suggests the windshield was under stress and twisted. After too many phone calls they came out to replace it, showed up with a damaged replacement. Had to reschedule and same thing happened again. So we went this a local shop and when they removed the glass Safelite had installed, we were shown what a mess that made, also noting the poor seal and the resulting rust inside the car from water leaks. Don’t use Safelite.

  They did a fantastic job from start to finish. Went in with a couple of chips and showed me all the real damage to my windshield. They schedule an in-home installation the next day which went completely flawless!

  I’ve been a Safelite vustomet for years, but this specific location did a supreme job! Very professional, and I appreciate all their expertise when it came to my inquiries. I highly recommend going to this location.

  The positive experience with Safelite in Hookset was the installation of the windshield when it was finally done. There were no issues with the installation. The negative experience is with their customer service and their scheduling. My insurance company led me to believe the windshield could be patched given its size. Call Safelite and they scheduled an appointment late Friday afternoon. I originally wanted them to come to my home to do the repairs, but they indicated it would be two weeks before they could come. Understand it’s a 40-minute drive from my home to Safelite. Once there, they indicated the windshield needed replacement and I needed to return next week to get the job done. The following week, several text messages were sent reminding me of the appointment and a phone call to confirm the appointment. At that time, I asked about the time estimate to install the windshield. They indicated that it would take approximately two hours to do. The delay was due to the weather forecast for rain which causes issues with the calibration. On the day of the appointment, I arrived 10 minutes early. There was another person checking in before me with the same make and model of my car. While waiting I overheard they had four cars needing to be repaired having the same make and model as mine. Two hours went by and they told me my car was ready. When they delivered the car, it wasn’t mine. It was for the person who checked in just before me. The technician apologized to me and indicated my car was being worked on currently and it would be ready in approximately half an hour. After waiting an hour and fifteen minutes, I asked someone at the desk about the delay. The technician indicated the delay was due to calibration issues and the estimate I was given earlier was for another car. The car was ready fifteen minutes later, a total wait of three and a half hours. While there might have been problems with calibration, I believe the issue was related to scheduling. The person that checked in before me with the same make and model was in and out within the two-hour estimate. They tried to deliver the wrong car and provided an estimate for the wrong car. For a company that prides itself on customer service, the customer service was not good. My recommendation for anyone who needs to go here for service is to either leave the car there and pick it up later or have the service done remotely.
