  Good service. They get the job done. But if they see a slightly dirty air filter they will declare martial law and upsell you to high heaven then call Trump to bomb Iran again.

  I brought my 2015 Jetta TDI to Grease Monkey in Rexburg before a road trip. During the service, the technicians admitted they put the wrong oil in my diesel engine and had to drain and refill it. They also noticed the coolant was low and recommended topping it off, which I authorized. Two and a half hours into my drive, the entire cooling system catastrophically failed, blowing out a fitting, throwing white smoke, and leaving my family stranded on the side of the freeway for over two hours. We had to pay for towing and an unexpected rental car. When I finally got a hold of the manager to discuss this, he was incredibly condescending, talked down to me, and completely deflected responsibility. His defense was that coolant "doesn't just go low, so there must have been an existing issue." If his technicians believed there was a major issue, they were completely negligent by just topping it off without a pressure test, failing to warn me, and sending me out on a highway trip. Absolute lack of professionalism and accountability. Do not trust them with your vehicle.

  I had an extremely frustrating experience with Grease Monkey location #658. They somehow entered the wrong license plate number which is registered to my BMW, which caused HUGE mileage inconsistencies and a rollback flag to appear on my Carfax report. The worst part is I have never even been to this location for service nor has my vehicle . I tried addressing the issue with the assistant manager, but instead of taking accountability or helping resolve the problem, she was dismissive and unprofessional throughout the interaction. A mistake like this can seriously affect a vehicle’s value and history, so the lack of urgency and customer care was unacceptable. I expect businesses handling vehicle records to pay attention to details and properly correct their mistakes. Very disappointing experience overall.

  We in a pinch and needed our tire pressure adjusted. The team members quickly jumped in to help us, and were so kind to us. We will for sure be using them again!

  Gave this place a second chance and it was even worse than the first time. I made an appointment in advance but still had to just sit in line behind everyone else. Why even have the option to make appointments?? Took over an hour for my vehicle to get into the bay. Paid $175 for an oil change, air filter, and tire rotation. Complete ripoff and it wasn’t even convenient. To top it off I did the survey after and they sent me a coupon for $10 off my next oil change, but it expires in one month… Staff is very friendly and great but I won’t be patronizing any of Grease Monkey’s locations again.
