  Update: 0500 called me and we agreed on a refund of the diagnostic. I updated my original 1 star to 3 because I appreciate the willingness to correct the mistake. I trusted this place after they fixed my car after I got scammed from another mechanic in Rexburg. This time I needed work done again and 0500 was my first choice because I liked their transparency. My car's starter was going out. I knew this because my mechanic brother told me after preparing my car for me to go to school. I called to ask for an estimate because I am a college student on a very strict budget. I was told that they had to run a "diagnostic test" first to see if that "really" was the problem. I am pissed because they ran a $300 diagnostic test to tell me it was the starter which I KNEW IN THE FIRST PLACE. I ended up paying for the starter replacement and the useless diagnostic test. THE DIAGNOSTIC TEST IS A WAY TO SCAM YOU OUT OF MONEY. I have lost faith in all the mechanics in Rexburg. I may never get that $300 back but hopefully I can protect other students who need a car to live.

  They were able to get my car in and out of the shop quickly and did not try to push me into any other repairs or work that I did not want done. Communicated with me throughout the process as well, which was appreciated. Will definitely come back if I need work done.

  We have a 2008 JEEP LIBERTY! Of course August is hot, and our A/C broke. Chris was very informative and we are once again loving our JEEP
