  I had a very DISAPPOINTING experience with the Pocatello Enterprise location. Do NOT rent from this location! The day before my reservation an employee called and left me a voicemail confirming my full size SUV for a weekly rental. I called back twice shortly afterward but wasn't able to reach anyone which I completely understand, they were likely busy helping other customers. When I arrived the next morning I was told they did not have the full size SUV I had reserved. The staff informed me they had located one at the Idaho Falls Airport location which is 45 minutes away, but stated they "spoke" to the location key word "spoke" and Idaho falls would not allow the vehicle to be brought to Pocatello. I contacted the Idaho Falls Airport location myself as the staff at Pocatello advised me to do so mentioning the SUV was at that location. After speaking with that location they confirmed the SUV was available and that I could come pick it up. The staff at the Idaho Falls location stated they would have allowed the vehicle to be moved the day prior, so I was lied to by the Pocatello staff which is very unprofessional. I understand that rental companies sometimes oversell vehicles as my brother rents from Enterprise every week across the country for work, so I know these situations can happen. My frustration isn't that the SUV wasn't on the lot, it's that it was confirmed the day before, the vehicle was available just 45 minutes away, no effort was made to resolve the situation, and there was very little empathy shown by the staff. There were also 4 staff members present the morning of and someone went to get the vehicle for me when I arrived, but no one seemed to care about that. Because of this I declined the replacement vehicle and it completely ruined my vacation plans. This experience was not what I've come to expect from Enterprise. If you're renting in this area I would recommend driving to one of the Idaho Falls locations instead of the Pocatello office to avoid the same experience. Save yourself the headache!

  The local staff really did go above and beyond to try to make it up to us but the fact that the correct size of car that had been reserved for two months ahead of time was allowed to be extended by other renters (which meant it was not available for us) is just mind boggling. We compared it to a rental house owner letting someone stay over an extra day when they have someone who reserved the house and expected to use it. Dallon is fairly new and was super sweet. Andrew made it up to us financially. Another staff member seemed calloused to this sort of thing happening often and did not seem to care that it messed with our vacation plans. We made it work with 6 of us in a truck but we were supposed to be comfy in a full size suv. We had to take a second car along to protect our stuff and all fit. Thank you for making it up to us financially. Please change the company policies to protect those who have reserved rental cars. I don’t see counting on this company again.

  Usually they have been great to work with. I have been renting from Enterprise for 6-7 years for work purposes. Overall I have had a great experience working with Enterprise. However, lately it seems that they don't have as many cars in stock to rent and the cars are not as clean lately. Before the past year or so, the cars were generally pretty clean, but more recently they haven't been as clean as I have been used to.

  They allowed me to book a car. Drove an hour to get it, only to find out that they don’t have any cars available.. Why take a reservation, knowing there are no cars available.

  I reserved a vehicle for Saturday and it was confirmed I was late to pick it up and when I arrived I was told they were out of vehicles! They told me to go to the airport location and when I arrived there was a wait and at least the young man there was more helpful than the one at the Pocatello location. Although, I didn’t get a vehicle at least he was courteous and I was not the only one that was sent to the airport location. The people ahead of me also had reservations and they did get into a vehicle except 2 other customers. I am usually pretty satisfied with the customer service as I rent at least once a month except the last 2 times both Nissan Rogue had tire issues. I may just rent from the airport location in 2 weeks.
