  I was traveling from Utah to Washington and my water pump went out. I stopped at another location and was told they were short staffed and sent me to this location. They fit me in and completed the job in three hours. They were already busy but knew this was urgent at least to me. They were friendly and responsive to every customer I saw in their shop. I am much obliged to the whole crew. Thanks again. Definitely recommend this shop.

  I travel all across country. And I have never ran across most helpful friendless group of people as I did here at Gill's point S tire and repair shop in Nampa. These guys got me in got me out so friendly number one great place to stop when you're having issues. I was traveling through Nampa Idaho my front tire was going half flat Googled them They got me in, got me out very quick. I give this tire shop of 5 star Review because they are worth it. And they are very good I Urge anyone who is needing tires or any kind of service work to swing by there and speak to them. You won't regret it.

  Guys at Gills are always great to work with, Cameron is top notch and was able to get the job done and walk me through a third party warranty claim with ease…I highly suggest giving Cameron a call and I bet you he can come up with a solution

  I've been going here since before they were "Point S" and before they were owned by Gills. I've spent collectively well over $15k over the years. I will not be going back. I brought in a car with a clutch issue. They diagnosed it, then told me it needed a full new transmission and clutch, citing to a Troubleshooting Bulletin (TSB). They quoted me north of $6k for the job and tried to sell me on a used transmission with over 80k miles saying "there were no new parts available". The TSB they cited, clearly shows that only a clutch job is needed, which was confirmed by the local Ford dealership and a trusted family mechanic (unfortunately not local) who works almost exclusively on Fords. The worst case scenario, with added related parts (all new, I might add) by the dealership was $5150 and likely closer to $3000. When confronted about lying to me about needing a new transmission and about there being "no parts" even though two other shops had no problems finding parts, they stated, "My guys don't have the tools or the skills to work on the unit, so we just have to do a full replace". That's the equivalent of a store selling you a brand new printer because they don't know how to replace the toner, and then not mentioning this or suggesting you should go elsewhere. They charged me nearly $170 for the "diagnosis" which seems, in my opinion, to have been simply making crap up. I've been to the shop a couple times after Gills bought them and the work seemed kinda half-assed in my opinion, and they multiple times failed to check all the things I asked. Now I know that they are not only providing bad service, but they will deliberately over-quote you and recommend unneeded parts. In my opinion these guys are snakes and trading on the good will the previous owners built. I will never return to them. I highly recommend that you find a different, honest shop.
