  Went in yesterday to order an alternator. Needed the part as soon as possible and so I paid extra for their next day service. I call today and the part hasn’t been delivered. I ask for the tracking number because it’s shipped through fedex as shown on my emailed receipt but they don’t have it. I ask if fedex has even made any deliveries today and I’m told by the associate, “I don’t know, I just got here” as if she couldn’t bother to check. Seeing as I paid extra for a service that obviously wasn’t fulfilled, I ask for a refund and she tells me I need to do that online, even though I paid in-store… Ok, so how do I do that, what’s the website to ask for my shipping back, again “I don’t know, you probably have to wait for it to get here and see if it’s included in the packing”… I say that’s not what I paid for but she has another excuse, “all I know is FedEx is understaffed”.. Auto Zone has just lost a regular customer. How is it the employees don’t know anything or have the necessary customer service skills to assist a customer in locating their part that was ordered in store? Unfortunately zero star reviews are not available because this review should reflect what horrible service this store gives its customers.

  Employee was very rude at checkout, very mad he had to do his job. The rest of the employees were nice and greeted us, picked the wrong checkout lane with him.

  Went in for a fuel pressure regulator for my buddies hyundai. Dustin was the one to assist us first. Failed to tell us that he could order the part from a boise store and didn't specify which boise store we had to visit. A+ for acting like a zombie that doesn't want to work. We returned after noticing dustins errors with the specified vehicle we provided. Monique was extremely helpful with all we needed. Give her a raise, please.

  How miserable to work there! Every employee is drenched in sweat trying to help customers through the awful heat box of a store! You can’t be in there longer than 5 min w out starting to sweat yourself! Shame on whoever it is sitting comfortably w air conditioner while those running your store are all but dying of heat stroke. And you want them to engage & deliver exceptional customer service while upselling and keeping the place tidy and up to date with a smile??? Makes total sense. 🤦‍♀️
