  These people were amazing!! We had a 12 passenger van at a youth trip that died after a rough ride to Bloomington lake. We tried the battery and everything we could think of. Nestor came out to our Airbnb and diagnosed that the jostling had activated the anti theft system. He saved us SO much money and time and now we are up and running. Thank you thank you thank you!

  We're on vacation and, as I was backing the trailer into our spot steam started pouring from under the hood. The radiator had failed! I called Valdez Mechanix and he came the same day with the replacement radiator. Unfortunately it was the wrong one but he went out and got the right one and finished the next day! It is great that there are good mechanics like Valdez and are quick and dedicated to getting you back on the road! Thanks again for taking away the stress and getting us back to enjoying family time!

  I am so grateful for Nestor and don't know what we would have done without him! My friend and I were driving a Miata from Colorado to Montana, and broke down right around the border of Wyoming and Idaho. Fortunately, Valdez Mechanix was not too far away and answered our call right away (though we broke down after 6 pm). Nestor immediately made us feel like it was going to be okay. He helped us get in touch with a towing company, and even offered to come look at the car and see if he could fix it there on the side of the road. He helped us get to somewhere safe and was extremely responsive and understanding as we called and texted back and forth. The radiator blew out, and the next day, Nestor went to a scrap yard to look at an old Miata there, then ended up driving two hours round trip to pick up a new radiator for us. We broke down on Thursday night around 6 pm, and he had the car fixed and ready on Friday night around 9 pm, after working his day job. He picked us up from Montpelier and brought us to the car, then was very patient as we started up the car and made sure everything was running smoothly. He even texted to check in the following day on how everything was going. Nestor is clearly an extremely hard worker and knows what he is doing. If you need someone to work unconventional hours on your car, he's your guy. Again, I'm not sure what we would have done if he weren't in the area where we broke down. We likely would have been stuck in Idaho for many more days. The price he charged us was also, unexpectedly, very reasonable. Thank you, Nestor! 🙏🏼

  Nestor “fixed” my shocks in January on my 2012 Toyota Rav well had to take my car in last night cause still was making noises mechanic took off my tires and immediately brought me in the shop to show me the shocks were completely gone no rubber left on the boot and still the OEM shock that came with the car so there was no way he fixed anything. Do not take Your vehicle to him if you want your vehicle to actually be worked on. Go to the mechanic I took my car to last night he is trustworthy R and J mechanics and tow. I had to put a star to post this review but it should be negative stars. 😓😓😓
