  The way they operate is definitely on the shady side. Bought a new trailer from them. Our salesman was a nice guy but they just want a down payment and dont give you enough information. Also asked for other add ons and services that were not addressed. Made me late for work and couldn't even take it because of a toilet leak. It wasn't a very good experience. I should have shopped around. Dont give a deposit,definitely explore other options.

  We purchased our trailer two years ago, I thought I left my review back then; our salesperson was amazing, he is no longer there. That said, I recently had to reach out as we never received our paperwork and plates from the DMV. Jeremy followed up immediately after receiving my request and had all of my information and and answers to my questions. It was not camping world that dropped the ball, they sent in all the information, our trailer shows registered, taxes paid, etc. They never sent the plates or registration to us. Camping world is great to work with, leave it to the state of Idaho to mess up. Camping world, thanks for making everything from buying our trailer to helping with DMV nonsense two years later a walk in the park. As an independent insurance agent in the valley, I'll send everyone looking to purchase your way 😉

  Our hot water tank broke so we went in and talked to the parts department and bought the new tank he recommended. The control panel won’t turn on so it can’t be used. Camping world says they won’t refund the 450.00 nor will they exchange it, said we have to go thru the manufacturer. So after several calls and emails the manufacturer calls and emails camping world saying to authorize an exchange, yet they still haven’t exchanged it. We’re now on day 6 with no hot water, and out 450.00. Don’t expect to get any help from them if you’re unfortunate enough to be sold a faulty part.

  Absolutely terrible, everything was fine until they got the signature! For starters, they told us my wife's 2022 highlander (we bought brand new) could pull the camper, turns out it's to heavy ( the sales team was pretty adamant about delivering the camper to us in twin falls).. bought a generator, was supposed to be delivered with it, didn't, said they'd ship it, been over a month and nothing. Now we're getting ignored and stuck with a camper we can't use! PLEASE TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE, THESE GUYS ARE A JOKE, just to get the signature.. we've tried contacting the general manager and anyone over to discuss this since we got it, and haven't heard a single thing back...

  I purchased a 2016 RV from Camping World in Meridian Idaho 5 years ago. For a year I called them multiple times to get the front panels for the refrigerator that died one day after bringing it home. Thankfully, they came out and replaced the fridge. But again, multiple phone calls, and I have still never received the front panelings. I decided to do some interior remodeling on it 2 months after purchasing it so I pulled up all of the flooring only to find that two thirds of the 14' slide out had severe water damage and had turned black and mushy and the top left corner of the slide was misaligned by an 1.5 inches, it's probably where all the water damage originated from. When I called and complained about it, I was told "you bought it as is." Almost every time I have gone into their parts department the customer service is atrocious. There's a young, very slender, long blonde haired gal that works in the parts department and every time I've ever had to be served by her she treats me like I am the most inconvenient thing too her day. She seems to know little to nothing about what RV parts even are because every question I asked her about my air conditioner I got a groan and a heavy chested huff, like I was inconveniencing her by asking. I purchased four very overpriced tubes of Dicor sealant, and when I walked over to the same girl in the parts department, she was rude. She just looked at me again like I was utterly inconveniencing her. She said, "are you looking to buy those?" When I said yes, she says, "well, my computer's logged out, you'll have to go purchase those up front." BTW another cashier was right next to her just chit chatting with another employee. I ordered 2 parts for my air conditioner and paid the balance in full on the phone with Kevin. He said he would email me a receipt to my email address which I confirmed was correct with him. I never received that receipt. He said the motor was in stock but the capacitor had to be brought over from their Caldwell store. I didn't think that was any big deal so I paid the balance in full for both and was told I could pick them up the Tuesday after next, 10 days after the date I purchased them. When I stopped in to buy the Dicor I figured since I was already there and Kevin told me the motor was in stock I would just grab it while I was there. Well guess again! I stood around for quite a while waiting for the cashier to come back with the motor until a new cashier walked up to the counter on the service floor and asked if I'd been helped. I said yes, but it's been quite some time and I would really like to go home. So I purchased the sealant from the new cashier and asked her to let the other cashier know that I would pick up the motor at the same time as the capacitor on Tuesday. When I got home, I decided to call them back and ask them to send the receipt to my email. It was at this time, I was told that they couldn't find the motor until after I had left. She also told me that Kevin had told her that he was going to call me to let me know that the capacitor that he told me was available in Caldwell, was in fact not available in Caldwell. She couldn't tell me if he'd ordered another one from somewhere else or not. I said, "wouldn't it be in my purchase history?" She said "no". I never received a phone call from Kevin and I'm curious why she couldn't just email me the receipt. She said she would have Kevin and the manager, Bobbie call me the next day. Good customer service should have prompted Kevin to call me as soon as he found out that the part he told me was available, and that I prepaid for, was in fact not available. I guess what I'm going on and on about is that they sold me a lemon. So of course, I'm not happy about that. For a year, I tried to get the front panels to the refrigerator. I finally gave up on that. And the customer service in the parts department is very, very lacking in professionalism. Not by all of them though. Given the number of people that have told me that they don't like Camping World, I'm inclined to believe them and never return.
