  Had a vehicle brought to them, paid 100 for an act of good faith....it was 4 months before it was put into the bay and Nothing was done. So an act of good faith is not reciprocated Unless you have a year to wIait on a vehicle I suggest you take it somewhere else. (There's no zero star so i had to give one star)

  My dad recommended Richard's Diesel to me, so I really didn't know what to expect. I went in for an alternator replacement on my car. At first, I wasn't sure that they could do it because my car is a gasoline sedan. Contrary to their name, they are capable of working on all manner of vehicles. They swapped out the alternator in the time they quoted me (possibly a day early) and they came in very close to the estimate. I have yet to have an issue with the alternator. Would definitely recommend Richard's Diesel. As far as I am concerned, I have found my mechanic!

  Had exhaust manifold problems last year which required full replacement. Traveled to and from Alaska without any problems. Came back and made several long trips to west coast with my small travel trailer. This spring went on a 7k trip to Southern states area. Started having noise issues in NC so came back to Richard's Diesel and went to bat for me on warranty and replaced them. Runs great again.

  A hidden gem. They know their diesels like the back of their hand. Always have been pleased very honest
