I spent 440$ on a trialer hitch off the autozone website. It was supposed to arrive Friday, got delayed until monday. The box showed up complete broke and taped back together. When I opened the box, nuts, bolts and mounting brackets were scattered all over the box. And of course I am missing some of everything. This item has obviously been bought and returned before. The package that carries the bolts had been cut open previously. The hitch its self is already scratched up. So, I called customer service and got told they can do 2 options, I can gather the hitch and all the parts and take it back to the store for a return, and they can send me another one but I needed the hitch this week so how does that help me? Its not my fault that it got delayed in shipping ( even when I paid more for it too be here friday) and showed up missing parts. Or 2, they can send me a 20$ gift card and I can go buy the bolts and nuts my self. I'm already behind 4 days, countless hours and my entire trip is ruined. I asked if thats really all they can do since the entire order was messed up and they told me yes, thats all we can do. Sorry for your luck. I spent 450$ on a item that I can't even use, that had been bought and returned previously, and is missing some of the most important parts. I got told they would be fine if I returned the item and bought it somewhere else instead. So thats exactly what I am doing. I recommend you really look into where you are doing business. Super sad a busniess as big as autozone, really wouldn't do more to try and help their customers out.
