SPRINGTIME MAINTENANCE FOR SMOOTH RIDES AHEAD

Batteries

Cold weather takes its toll on batteries. Now that winter is behind us, stop by for a free battery check to make sure your car has the power for smooth operation in the springtime weather. If you need a new one, we carry batteries with proven tough coverage from Duralast, plus performance options like Optima and Odyssey and economical buys from Valucraft. We have everything you need to keep your car powered all year long.

Brakes

Springtime brings sunny days and much needed rain. Stop on a dime year round with brake system maintenance. Reliable stopping starts at AutoZone. Get Duralast brakes that meet or exceed OE, economical options from Valucraft, or performance brakes from Brembo, EBC, and more.

Motor Oil

When the temperature warms up the oil in your vehicle thins, which can strain your engine if too thin. When shopping oil for warmer months, use thicker oil. It is recommended to change your oil every 3,000 to 5,000 miles.

Windshield Wipers

Windshield Wiper Blades should be replaced every six months to a year. A fresh set of wiper blades are important for spring months. Cool conditions can make dirt, pollen, and water more stubborn to wipe away, increasing the wear and tear on your wipers.

Their fluid selection is decent. Not much else in stock on the shelves unless you're looking for neon lights or fake hood vents. Would be an ok store as long as they can look it up in a computer. In short, almost everyone there needs better training or at least the ability to say "I don't Know" instead of trying to BS someone. Tried to find a generic 30 AMP relay for an electric fuel pump conversion. Seem like that should be stocked in the general electrical supplies. NOPE!!! The first girl who tried to help was doing her best (and I do thank her for it! Good job to her!) fighting the computer system to get it to the universal fit relays, when the manager came up and everything went sideways. She couldn't comprehend that it was a custom installation and it should be a universal part. " well if you go pull the one out and bring it in..." (there isn't one) and "it doesn't show one for your car..." (see previous response). She also thought that terminal #30 meant it was a 30 amp relay from a picture that did come up! I almost asked if she could describe what a relay is and how it works just to watcher her flounder. Ended up driving to "the green and red" store down the road and grabbed one off of the shelf. Almost bought two just to bring one back to show her. First time I went in, I watched someone's eyes glaze over when I asked for 4 stroke motorcycle oil. They responded with " you don't mix gas for a four stroke". Went round a round with the person explaining and they never got it.

Went in to pickup an alternator, gal behind the counter was nice, but did not seem to know how to do her job. Had her test my old alternator, took almost 15 mins for her to figure it out, then had to stand there for another almost 30 mins waiting because she needed mgr password for pickup and manager was busy. I really hope they get their employees better training as this was ridiculous.

Sayge was incredibly unhelpful and rude unfortunately. Barely knew what she was doing, had no customer service, and took much longer than expected to find what I needed. Will be taking my business to Ontario or Payette.
