The van he gave us was very clean and just had its oil changed, which made us feel better about the long drive. We will definitely be back next time we take a road trip.
- FNFernando NilaJul 1, 20261.0Originally, I signed up for a full-size vehicle because I have a family of five. When I arrived, the employee told me they didn’t have any full-size vehicles available and gave me a compact vehicle instead. I had no choice because I needed to get going. On my way back from California, the vehicle broke down in Truckee. I called Enterprise and spoke with someone in Truckee named Chance. His advice was, “Oh, the check engine light is just resetting—it’ll be fine.” I explained that the car had completely lost power and stalled for about 20 minutes, leaving me stranded on the side of the road. I eventually made it to Reno, where they replaced the vehicle. The staff there were very professional and thoughtful of my situation.

Once plane landed I was informed that I had to find my own ride there and pay out of pocket. Once at enterprise the first vehicle that was given put out a horrible smell through the ac vents. I took it back and was swapped out with something comparable. Then, that vehicle had transmission issues. It had trouble shifting between gears. I was on a tight schedule during our stay and didn't have time to make a second trip back to enterprise to swap out the vehicle again. I probably won't be going through enterprise moving forward based on this experience.
