  The driveshaft center support bearing on my 2005 Silverado 2500HD failed while I was traveling, hours from home. AutoZone Store #6139 had the part in stock for a 20-year-old truck, and Terry and Mary went far beyond the counter — they set me up with Loan-A-Tool equipment, helped me improvise when a standard tool wouldn't fit, and checked in on me while I did the entire repair in their parking lot. Terry was quick, calm, and positive the whole time. I was able to drive home to my family that night. Thank you, Terry and Mary.

  I just had one of the worst customer service encounters with Mary that I’ve ever had in 69 years. We brought back a battery that we had purchased the day before after a very concerning issue where I was 70 miles from home and my husband bought the battery and came to rescue me if needed. Turns out it was the alternator and I was able to limp home. After spending $360 at another AutoZone for the alternator, a serpentine belt and some other parts and not being able to return the $260 battery at that store, we headed to the Athol store to return it. When we put it on the counter, Mary let out a very animated, agitated sigh at having to process the return. I was so shocked that I bit my tongue because I thought she must be kidding and I read it wrong. I didn’t. . She braced us and asked gruffly why we were returning it. When told we didn’t need it, she just stood and stared at it like she was trying to decide if that was a good enough excuse. Then more groaning when she found out it was a commercial account. Then she said she only had $200 in cash in the till. More staring. We hadn’t asked for cash and presumed it would be put back on our card and she acted like she’d never heard of that before. I got the impression she was hoping we’d just give up and take our unneeded battery and leave. Then the phone rang and more grumbling while she mentioned she has to multitask on her job (don’t we all). I was totally ready to jump her for her bad attitude and it took all I had to keep quiet. Since then I’ve talked to several others who have had similar experiences and said she’s just the worst. One even said he waited for a half hour for another cashier so he wouldn’t have to deal with her. Is this the best the store can do? I can’t help but think there are others out there who WANT to work. And in the meantime Mary, you may want to consider that folks who come into your store could be having a helluva day and could use a smile and feel like their business is actually important. It’s not all about you. A smile and a friendly demeanor would go a long way toward making up for your incompetence.

  I had a check engine lite on my vehicle, and Bradley was able to run a diagnostic test and located the issue. Parts I needed were is stock with a lifetime warranty. Not only did this fix my issue, Bradley was able to recommend a couple of local mechanics in case I wasn,t able to replace the parts. Totally impressed with the level of service I received.
