  Great experience this time around. I can tell that there’s an improved attention to detail and the customer experience; thanks to Gregory for his hospitality and his willingness to go above and beyond to help ensure my trip to NYC was an easeful one. I really appreciated his assistance in getting me the vehicle I wanted and delighting me throughout our interaction.

  Learn from my mistake. Refuel yourself!!! Rental process was really good, employees were great. The only issue I have is the charges for refueling after the return was made. I know its my own mistake not to refuel (i just did not see any gas stations near the rental place and not being from the area) and trust others to do so. I returned the car which was a hybrid with driving only 94 miles. The return estimate even showed what i was expecting of an estimated charge of $35.97. Which is high but I understand the cost of having to send someone to refuel. To my surprise when the final invoice came out it charged me $61.63....WOW! The operator told me that they had to put 5.1 gallons of fuel in it. No way to disprove but hard to believe that a hybrid gets only 18 mpg backroads driving 45 mph at an average.

  I always try and rent with Sixt when we travel just because of the good experience with them. And here was no different, the gentleman at the counter was the best! He gave us an upgrade for no extra charge. I will continue to use Sixt.

  Great Experience with SIXT On May 29, 2026, I picked up my rental from SIXT at Washington, DC Union Station. I had reserved a Toyota RAV4, but Marque let me know they didn’t have one available and immediately offered me a BMW X2 instead. I was a little bummed at first because I knew my budget was going to increase, but I needed to get to Virginia for my niece’s wedding, so I decided to go with it. Looking back, getting the BMW was actually a godsend! I really enjoyed driving it during the few days I had it. From booking to pickup, the overall experience was outstanding. Compared with other rental car companies, SIXT had the best vehicle selection and some of the most convenient drop-off options. Marque was friendly, polite, transparent, and took the time to explain everything thoroughly before I drove away. The drop-off at Dulles and shuttle process was also fast and efficient. Overall, a great rental experience. I would definitely consider using SIXT again.

  Mr. Thompson was great to work with and has the utmost integrity. I rented a car and noticed a scratch on the vehicle that I didn’t notice when I picked the car up. When I returned the car I thought I’d be on the hook for it but he was able to look up the condition of the car when I picked it up and told me the scratch was actually there from before. A big relief off of my shoulders. Thank you again Mr. Thompson for being a standup gentleman.
