  Made an appointment 3 days out. Had a verified and confirmed appointment. Got a call from Edwin, my tech, at 830am to say I was gonna be the last stop and he wouldn’t be there till 430 or 5pm. No problem since that was in my 1-5pm window for my appointment. 530pm rolls around and no call, no show from Edwin. I had to call him to find out what was going. Says he’s overbooked. Safelite and Edwin did not reach out to let me know they’d be late. No number to call for customer service. Lame. I won’t be recommending this place to anyone. Made a call to SD auto glass and spoke with Frank. Got my windshield installed in 45 mins the next morning. Great service from them! I WILL recommend them.

  Had 2 different appointments with them and they both went similarly. My sedan was broken into on my street and I needed a new windshield and side window. I scheduled an appointment for mobile replacement and it was a breeze. They came and replaced ed it, however, the issues started coming. I started getting an alert on my dash regarding my cars functionality. I called back safelite as I noted it happened after their repair and they quickly sent someone. After troubleshooting, they were not able to resolve. I then bad to bring it to their warehouse to resolve. They were not sure how to fix and told me to go to the dealer for a root cause. Went to dealer and they noted the side window repair didn’t have a sensor plugged back in (was dislodged in the replacement). What started out as an hour repair turned into a two week ordeal. Safelite reimbursed me for the diagnosis and repair from the dealer, but it wasn’t a quick fix. The other was a windshield on a class c motorhome. When k scheduled the appointment over the phone, even with VIN verification, the agent selected the wrong vehicle. After an hour, I got a return call noting that the agent didn’t record anything for the vin and they needed to verify again. Told them the chassis model and that is was an rv and they said it was all good (needed a different part). Told them k didn’t need wipers both times because it was going to sit in a storage lot for a bit and they wear easily. When the agent came for the repair, he took one look at it and said he couldn’t do it on site as it was a 2 person job (even paid for the first appointment of the day because I know rvs aren’t easy- event explained that) so they had me reschedule where they could get another worker to me for help. Scheduled for 7 am two days later .im waiting for a call from them and never hear from them, so I call the office. No answer because they don’t open til 8. Drive it to the nearest warehouse of their and they don’t have anyone in the office since they are loading all their vans. After several minutes of waiting, they come in and say k am late for my appoint ment and that they will try to squeeze me in with others. I told them it was meant to be mobile and that no one was even present to verify earlier. It ended up only being one guy to repair it anyways so not sure why it took the reschedule if and driving around. After I got the invoice. They even charged and replaced the wipers even though I noted in didn’t want them in the original request. They are cheaper most other places anyways

  They were very quick in scheduling. Unfortunately they did not offer all of the services that they can do except for windshield wiper blades which I did not need. I definitely would have done the water repellent on the windshield but that was not offered I didn't know about it until it was too late. Other than that I highly recommend them.

  I had a huge crack in my windshield and took my car to Safelite to get it replaced. Because of the make and model of my vehicle, it was a more complex job, so I brought it directly into the shop instead of using mobile service. The whole process was seamless. Making the reservation online was easy, and bringing the car in was just as smooth. The wait time matched their initial estimate perfectly. What impressed me most was the technician: they took the time to explain the work step-by-step, including the recalibration of the vehicle's safety systems. Excellent service from start to finish. I would highly recommend Safelite to anyone!

  I knew that I wanted nationwide Safelite for my windshield repair. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that Allstate Insurance has a relationship with Safelite. I was able to set up my service appointment starting with the Allstate app. Available service appointment times were listed by days of the week and appointment time available at the location I had chosen. My windshield and recalibration only took one hour.
