  Avoid Enterprise Truck Rental Saskatchewan (Saskatoon Branch) Failed to Deliver a Site-Compliant Vehicle and Ignored Us for Weeks I rented a truck from Enterprise for a mandatory mine site contract beginning June 17, 2026. Before signing, I reviewed the site specifications with Branch Rental Manager Ashraful Kawser multiple times, specifically because non-compliant vehicles are not permitted on site. Ashraful confirmed, repeatedly, that the truck met every requirement. It did not. The truck arrived without functioning safety equipment required for site access. We were forced to purchase reflective striping ourselves and source a replacement beacon after the one Enterprise provided failed within two days of arriving on site, equipment that should have been inspected and confirmed working before handover. What followed was a month of broken promises: June 19, 2026 — I called to report the truck was not compliant and could not remain on site. Ashraful assured me he would escalate to management and resolve it immediately. June 29, 2026 — Ten days later, no fix. I called again for an update and was told someone would "get back to me immediately." July 2, 2026 — Still nothing. I drove to the branch in person because the beacon had failed again, the same required safety item. I was promised a follow-up email with a resolution plan. July 12, 2026 — Six days from the end of a one-month rental, and I have received zero formal communication from Ashraful or Enterprise. No email, no call, no resolution. For a rental explicitly intended for site work with clearly defined compliance requirements, Enterprise handed over a truck that was not fit for purpose, then left me to fix their equipment gaps out of pocket while my contract compliance was on the line, not once, but twice with the beacon alone. To make matters worse, after all of this I got a quote from a competing Saskatchewan rental provider for the correct truck package required for site, 32% cheaper than what Enterprise charged for a vehicle that didn't even meet spec. If you need a rental for anything with compliance requirements, look elsewhere. Ashraful Kawser and the Enterprise team here talk a good game before you sign, but once the truck is in your hands and something goes wrong, don't expect follow-through. Check other providers in Saskatchewan first — it will save you money and headaches.
