Edit - the owner reached out and made it right. They apologized for mistake and found a solution without confrontation. Will give them another chance I stopped in off highway because steering wheel was shaking. They told me to replace rear tires which I did even thought I knew rear tires couldn’t cause issues but they would rotate them. I asked if that should fix issue and it did not. I just took it in to a shop in Saskatoon and the balance was off badly on tires. How did they listen to my issues sell me 2 new tires and still not balance them and fix issues

I'd be careful. I did have good experiences here buying tires and getting my car checked, but the last visit a few months ago put me off majorly and I don't think I'll be going here. They let me bring my car in on super short notice because something was hanging from the undercarage by my front passenger tire. A mechnaic looked at it and told me it was the tire rod that snapped, quoted me $500+, said the my car wasn't drivable and had to stay in the shop. They also started telling that an electrical issue (that they hadn't been able to fix before, which was fine because they were honest about it) was still happening when they went to move my car from the front into the shop. That was strange because I had taken it to a different mechanic in my home town to get it fixed and had no issues since (still none, so this was an outright lie). Anyways, I had snapped a picture of the damage before coming in and sent it to my mechnaic friend in another provence who said it looked like a swaybar link. I was recording an audio message back to him explaining what they told me, and one of the workers corrected me saying that it was, in fact, a swaybar link. My mechanic buddy told me the part was $30, an easy install, and it wasnt even necessary to the driveability of the vehicle at all. Suddenly the quote dropped to around $300 and it was a swaybar link this while time. I canceled the work and took my car as it was. They didnt make me pay anything which i was thankful for, but if it wasnt for my friend I would have been out $500+ for a non-issue. I would make sure you either know your stuff or have someone with you who does, otherwise they might try this with you.

Awesome experience today! Went in for what I thought was going to be a tire patch but instead was told there was a piece stuck in my valve core. They fixed it quickly and at no charge! I'm very grateful for the honestly and will definitely be back!

Frequently Asked Questions About Fountain Tire

When should I replace my tires?

Tires wear out over time, and how long they last depends on things like road conditions, driving habits, inflation, and temperature. The best way to know when to replace them is to check them regularly. Common ways to measure tread include the following. - Tread wear bars: When these are flush with the tread, it’s time to replace. - Coin test: If too much of the coin shows, your tread is low. - Tread depth gauge: The most accurate way to measure. If your tread is low or you see cracks, bulges, or notice vibration, come see us.

What are some signs my vehicle is out of alignment?

It doesn’t take much to throw your alignment off—potholes, curbs, or just everyday driving. Poor alignment can lead to faster tire wear and poor handling. Common signs include: - Vehicle pulls to one side - Crooked steering wheel - Uneven tire wear - Loose or unstable steering - Vibration in the steering wheel If something feels off, we’re happy to take a look.
