Since 1963, the Improvisation Comedy Clubs have remained the premier stages for live comedy in the United States. Over the decades, the talent who have graced Improv stages represent the Who’s Who in American comedy.
Located within the beautiful Corners of Brookfield, the Milwaukee Improv is easily accessible via Hwy 94 or Hwy 18 and is just a short ride from Waukesha or downtown Milwaukee. The brand new, state-of-the-art live comedy club opened August 2021, delivering a combination of A-list comedians, good food and cocktails.
Parking and finding the actual entrance to the center was very confusing and not written out at all for the event. The inside was cozy but comfortable. We had great seats even though we had floor seats. The portions of food were very generous but the food was meh 🫤 prices were about what was expected for the venue and location. To my mind pleasant surprise the alcoholic drink was good and strong. You have the option to order on your phone or with the service which helps speed up the process and the table service was decent.

Last week I was there to see Eddie Griffin and a few weeks prior I was there to see Tony Roberts. Both times I was VIP. Performances we AMAZING, however, the service for getting food and drinks was HORRIBLE!!! Servers were kind of rude,I asked for water the ENTIRE show BOTH times and got nothing! I was forced to get out of my seat and stand at the kitchen to get myself water. Food looked as if it was thrown on my place (nachos) and as if they ran out of toppings. For the price and requirements to purchase this is unacceptable. I'd rather pay more for my ticket rather than be forced to deal with trash service. They simply do not have enough servers for the crowd capacity. I am VERY disappointed!!!!

It's pretty cool the only problem I have is the seating you have to get there early to get a good seat if not people will block you from seeing the show you have to adjust yourself or literally stand up to see parts of the show but overall great place food pretty expensive went to eat afterwards

I love the atmosphere; however, the food quality is disappointing. Much of it tastes as though it goes straight from a freezer bag into the fryer, rather than being freshly prepared.
There have also been several occasions when I ordered food that never arrived—even after reminding the waitress. The atmosphere is enjoyable, but the food quality and service need significant improvement.

I surprised my husband with a show. This was our first, and only visit to improv. We were instructed to order from an app, which we did when we arrived. The app gave you the option to close the tab right away, which I did. I did not tip on the app since I'm not going to tip before I've even been greeted by a server, and I was going to tip in cash.
Our server dropped off our drinks, food was later brought out by a runner. I asked the runner for a different drink since the one I received was terrible. She said she would tell our server. He never came or gave the time of day. I had to call out and stop him to ask for it again. He had stopped by everybody else except us...no one else had to flag him down.
Before the headliner even came on stage, the server dramatically slammed a paper check down in front of me and said I could sign and leave a tip. I was taken aback, and ignored it since I was trying to enjoy the show. Not even 2 minutes later, the server comes back and hurriedly grabs the check without saying a word...I hadn't signed. Not that it mattered, since I already closed out. As the show was coming to an end, the server came around with a tablet like device to close every one out, except us. Again, we already paid. After the horrible treatment we received, I no longer felt a tip was deserved. I worked in the service industry for 14 years. I tip well above average, but also based on the service received.
On the way out, we asked to speak to a manager, Emily. We explained the situation and she apologized and said she would talk to the server. We were given a vip pass for a future show...in hindsight I should have asked for a refund. The vip pass only covers few, uninteresting shows. Emily told us to call if there was a show we wanted to see that was not included in the redeemable shows for the pass. We have called multiple times and have not heard back. No one ever picks up, so voicemails were left. No one ever called back. The only enjoyable part of the show were the comedians. The food and drinks were mediocre and overpriced. Service was horrible and apparently the management is just a face.
