The ONLY reason I am giving 1 star is that the staff was pretty great. They really did the best they could with what they had to work with. Now lets get into it. I had my Daughters 8th birthday party at Monster Mini Golf this past weekend. We have previously had parties at Arena Sports and Skyzone, while attending parties at Flying Squirrel, Pump it Up, Elevated Sportz, etc. Basically any venue for a child's birthday party, we've been there. The experience at Monster Mini Golf was by far the worst. The communication leading up to the party was poor but I won't spend too much time on that because the real horrors occurred the day of. We were granted access to the party room 15 minutes before the scheduled 5pm start. Fine, no problem. The room was a good size but there were two tables there with 8 seats at each table. Which typically would be fine, except there were 18 children invited to the party PLUS the guest of honor which was communicated to the party planner an entire week before the party. So here I am trying to set up for the party and also squeeze additional chairs and settings around the tables. The next issue was that the ONLY tables in the room was for the children to sit. I asked if they had an additional table I could use to put food, drinks, gifts, or the cake on. They told be no, but I could put those things on a chair in the room. That wasn't going to work. I noticed there was a party room next to us separated only by a curtain. I asked if I could pull over one of those unused tables to put items on. They said they didn't thing so, but they would ask the owner. They call the owner. I give some general feedback about my experience thus far which they rudely dismissed stating they've owned such in establishment in bellevue for years and its running fine. noted. In any event, I asked if I could use one of the tables from the adjacent party room, she said no because there was another party coming in at 6pm (Spoiler alert: there wasn't another party). So I then had to leave my child's birthday party to go home to get tables to finish setting up the room. Now, as I am talking to the manager, I see these tiny little pizza boxes arrive with East Coast Enzo's on them. Now, I don't know why, but I assumed the food would be made in house. I probably should have asked, but thats my fault. I certainly wouldn't have thought the food would be outsources from East Coast Enzo's which is probably the worst Pizza Place in Snohomish County. The Pizzas were small and we had 3 of them to feed 18 guests. YES I could have ordered more before hand, but in my mind, an establishment selling a party package is going to include the correct amount of pizza for the number of guests attending. Luckily the pizza was awful as expected from Enzo's so no one wanted a second slice. Crises adverted. but yeah, just know if you are going get food at Monster Mini Golf, its coming from East Coast Enzo's where I found a hair on my pizza on two separate occasions a few years ago. On to more disasters. The awful pizza arrived right at 5:00pm. The party starts at 5:00pm. Why is the pizza arriving as guest as arriving? Thats a fabulous question. In any event, the mini golf portion was to begin at 5:40pm with bowling to follow. We were told that the golf course would be cleared so our party could play. That was not the case at all. There were other people all over the course. The little 7&8 year olders were also sped run thru the course which made the entire process chaotic. Then there was the bowling which was fine I suppose. But we were limited to two lanes (there are 4) and had 9 children in each lane. So you can imagine that patience ran out VERY quickly. Eventually, I cut the bowling short so the children could get their game cards and start playing. Well, that turned into another adventure as many of the games didn't work. Running out of space here but to recap. Staff: A+ Venue: B Owenership/management: F. Food: F. Value: D +. I would definitely never do another party here and probably would never visit again either.

4.5 out of 5 Came just after they opened on a Friday (12:07). Not too busy maybe two other 2-3 people groups ahead of us on the mini golf course. The course itself was fun. Glow in the dark. Seattle themed. Some of the holes were a little challenging (holes on a hill!), but overall had a good time. 18 holes. There are gaps between holes (to walk through) and on one of the later holes my ball rolled through to another earlier hole so luckily that group weren't playing and let me get the ball first. Dim lighting (it's a vibe) and apparently a little noisy (I must have ignored it), but the music choice was good (when I was paying attention to it.) There's laser tag, mini bowling and and arcade. I can't speak to anything else, but looks worth it if you wanted to combine activities. Also ample parking.

I was visiting my girlfriend last weekend and she suggested we go check the Monster Mini Golf, and I’m hella glad that she suggested it. I appreciated the warm welcome from the employees. They greeted us and asked us if it was our first time there, and we said yes, and they went into detail explaining what they have there. We did the mini golf, the mini bowling, and some of the arcade games. We didn’t have a dull moment. I appreciated the art surrounding the mini golf area because it contained some history about Seattle, and the art was beautiful. We will definitely visit them again since we didn’t do the laser tag last time.

My friend and I are Monster Mini-Golf fanatics and we’ve been to the nearby location in Bellevue several times, so we are absolutely thrilled to see that a new location had opened much closer to our houses. Of course we had to stop by only a few weeks after opening. Overall our experience was delightfully frightening and frighteningly fun. However there is always room for improvement so I will be breaking down our review into an extremely detailed numbered list. Customer service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We only encountered two employees during our time there but they were both absolutely lovely and happy to assist us. Even some things that were out of their control they did their best to make sure our mini golf experience was top-notch. Theming ⭐️⭐️⭐️🎖️ While mini golf and arcade games are fun, the reason we have dedicated to our lives to Monster Mini Golf is because of the theming; so this category carries a lot of weight. A big reason we can’t give this five stars was because the animatronics were unfortunately not working during our visit. While they are still compelling as static figures, compared to the Bellevue location, this was a tad disappointing. Thankfully my companion have extremely active imaginations and were able to close our eyes and imagine what it would be like if the figures were moving. The illustrations on the wall were delightful as ever and it’s lovely to know a local artist was hired to draw them. In the age of AI-slop, this does not go unappreciated!! Facilities ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Bathrooms were very clean and convenient! There is of course the structural problem of the motion activated paper towel dispensers activated when you wash your hands (in the men’s room), effectively soaking the paper towels but overall not too bad. I do wonder about maybe looking into a family bathroom situation especially if you are trying to attract customers with very young children. Music - 🎖️ Honestly wanted to give this 0 stars but we will go with .5 because I suppose the terrible country music was better than no music whatsoever but even that I’m not sure about. It is absolutely insane and frankly unconscionable that no Monster Mini Golf I’ve been to has played “The Monster Mash” ESPECIALLY in the month of October. There is a time and place for boots-on-the-ground country, but the holy ground of Monster Mini Golf in October is not that time or place. My immersion within these haunted halls was broken by the presence of “Rude” by Magic on the playlist. The song choices should not be scarier than the animatronics. Mini-golf ⭐️⭐️⭐️🎖️ We did the standard mini-golf with a combo deal of a $10 arcade card and it was all pleasant! It’s unfortunate that the theming at Monster Mini Golf rarely impacts the actual mini golf. Some of the holes were legitimately just a straight shot from the starting point to the hole. Some holes are too challenging like the “Ring of Fire” and “Uphill Battle” that seemingly require both a PhD in physics and golfing; two things that my friend and I, as well as most of your presumed nine-year old patrons, do not have. Overall though mini golf is fun no matter the circumstance, and the charm of Monster Mini Golf is still top-notch. Laser Tag ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🎖️ Theming was absolutely on point and the intro video was delightfully corny and charming. I will say, that as fun as it is to change your avatar and shot-style, the technology present on the laser guns was a bit over complicated. Especially for any presumed nine year olds who might be in attendance, it’s easy to accidentally switch your language or something without realizing what you’ve done. Not sure what that was about. Overall, very fun laser tag. Arcade ⭐️⭐️🎖️ Going to keep this short because I’m assuming management doesn’t have a ton of control over what these games are like, but if I had one piece of attainable feedback it would be to replace that Raccoon Raiders game with something that doesn’t use water. WE LOVE YOU MONSTER MINI GOLF!
