What an incredible place for families! I took my grandsons to Main Event, and they had an absolute blast. From the arcade games to laser tag and bowling, there was something exciting around every corner. It’s so refreshing to have a place where kids of all ages can stay active, laugh, and make wonderful memories together. The facility was clean, the atmosphere was upbeat, and the staff was friendly. Especially Brittney, she was so helpful and kind. Thank you Brittney!! Seeing the smiles on my grandsons’ faces made the entire visit worthwhile. Thank you, Main Event, for bringing such a fun, family-friendly destination to the Greenville area. We’ll definitely be back and will be recommending it to our family and friends! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We’ve been here before and the service has always been very slow, but we’ve dealt with it. Today we went there at noon for a World Cup game and sat at the bar. We were one of 3 very small groups there in the eating area. We kept making eyes with workers trying to get their attention. At one point someone came over and said she’s making their drinks and then she’ll be right with you. She came out with drinks and walked back in. Other workers walked past us and we made gestures asking what’s happening. No one talked to us. The next time the waitress came out she went back out to the same table to take their food orders. At this point it’s been 20+ minutes with NO contact, no water, nothing. We start waving her down trying to get any communication. Completely ignored. We left and will not be back. Also — one of the workers door dashed Wendy’s burger and ate it in the bar. I have to tell you - that’s embarrassing and didn’t make me feel good about the kitchen.

I almost never leave a review, but I would be doing a disservice to anyone considering patronizing this establishment if I didn't. Let me be clear, this was one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. I very rarely feel the need to write a review, unless the service is stellar and the establishment deserves a shoutout, because negative reviews can hurt a business, and everyone has an off day. So often I ignore mediocre service to not unjustly harm a business. However, this was such a collassally unprofessional level of service, that I feel the need to warn anyone considering patronizing this establishment to rethink their decision. Lane service is promised at Main Event, yet my wife and MIL had to go order at the bar manually for every drink, or food item, that our party wanted during our 2 hour bowling reservation. The "waitress", if we're giving this person any credit at all, came to our table a single time, not to take our order or check on our visit, but to bring us utensils that we had to request from an entirely separate employee. She never once came to our group to assist us in anyway. Adding to that, the young man at the bowling alley desk made sure to finish his text conversation before helping us with our reservation, and again when we went to get our shoes. It must have been an important conversation, because he was glued to his phone the entire time we were at the alley, and even when we arrived, when he finally looked up from sending his text, he just blankly stared at my wife until she said why we were there. No "hello, how can I help you." Nothing. The level of social awareness was abyssmal. Funnily enough, he was the best of our service, because at least he put his phone down he was helpful. Much to my dismay, my wife wanted to speak to a manager given how poorly we were being serviced. While I despise leaving a complaint, even I couldn't be upset at her request, and yet no manager ever came. I couldn't tell you which aloof young person was actually running this establishment. My wife asked for a manager twice, and never once did one come to assess our situation, or make things right. This speaks volumes about the level of care that goes into running this two bit waste of space So, if you like mediocre bowling, the worst service you will EVER experience, and potentially retaliatory service for having the audacity to speak to a manager, then you should just set your money on fire, or go to Main Event - your choice.

I visited Main Event with my sister and child and left disappointed by the inconsistent customer service we received. When we arrived, we stood at the front waiting to be acknowledged for several minutes. No one greeted us or explained whether we should seat ourselves or wait for a hostess. While waiting, I approached an African American female employee working behind the bar and politely asked whether we should wait to be seated or seat ourselves. She did not acknowledge or respond to my question. Shortly afterward, a Caucasian customer approached the same employee to ask how long it would take for someone to take her table’s order. The employee immediately acknowledged her concern and quickly retrieved the hostess, who was also an African American woman. The hostess, a heavy-set woman with glasses and auburn-and-black twists, promptly assisted the Caucasian customer and her table. Meanwhile, my family and I continued waiting without acknowledgment. It was not until a manager noticed us that we finally received assistance. The manager was attentive, professional, and immediately arranged for us to be seated at a booth at my request. The African American lady who originally ignored me- seated us and still her demeanor appeared unwelcoming and hostile in nature she informed us that she would return to take our drink order. However She never came back. We waited an additional 15 minutes while multiple tables seated after us received prompt service. At approximately 7:33 p.m., a trainer named Steen stepped in, took our food and drink orders, and apologized for the delay. Her professionalism and attentiveness significantly improved our experience. Unfortunately, there were additional concerns. While preparing our margaritas, the same employee behind the bar placed the lime garnish directly into our glasses with her bare hands. This was unsanitary and unacceptable. We were seated around 7:14 p.m. but did not receive part of our order until 8:03 p.m., with the remainder arriving at 8:04 p.m. During that time, tables seated after us appeared to receive faster service, including appetizers. On a positive note, Steen provided excellent customer service, and another employee whose name I did not catch was also attentive and helpful throughout our meal. The food itself was prepared well. I am not accusing Main Event of racism, nor am I suggesting this experience reflects every employee. However, I cannot ignore the noticeable difference in how my family, who are African American, was treated compared with the Caucasian customers I observed during our visit. As someone who works in customer service, I believe every guest deserves the same level of acknowledgment, attentiveness, and respect regardless of race. I encourage management to review customer service standards, guest engagement practices, and food-handling procedures to ensure all guests have a positive experience. I would consider returning in the future perhaps at a different time and maybe on a different day , but I hope these concerns are addressed imperatively and the the individual who ignored us received the additional training she direly needs so that she stays employed.

Let me start by saying we come pretty often. Went and took my 4 kids for unlimited game Mondays. Games were fine although we could only play about half of them. But dinner was a different story and the reason we probably won’t be back. Our server came to our table 1 time, 15 minutes after we were sat. Took drinks, appetizers and dinner orders. Drinks took 15 minutes via food runner. Then apps came out with dinner again, via food runner who told me I couldn’t have lettuce on my burger because it “didn’t come on the slider” even when I offered to upcharge it. Turns out my food was wrong and my son’s was just missing. Same food runner brings mine and my son’s food 20 minutes later after the 4 other people in my party were finished eating. Still no server 20 minutes later. I walked up to the bar and asked them to send a manager to my table. ANOTHER 20 minutes later and the waitress magically appears with the bill. Over an hour and a half to see our server twice and no manager when I asked for one. My kids were exhausted and ready to go home and we were just ignored.
