  DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH AVNIDA PHOTOGRAPHY. Harshita, the photographer, will NOT reach out to you once your shoot is over. You will have to beg for your photos and realize you're communicating with someone who is intentionally ghosting you. I'm reaching 2 months now with no photos and quite frankly tired of chasing her down. Since the photoshoot, I never received any communication from Harshita about any timeline. I'm reading the contract agreement and there's no promised time frame either for clients to receive their photos. At this point I'm wondering if I'm ever going to receive anything????? These are precious newborn photos that can't be redone. If you read all the recent reviews, this seems to be her business model - ghosting her clients. Please read all the recent yelp and google reviews to educate yourself. She's terrible at communicating through email. I had to send 2 emails each time to get a response of what date the shoot was going to be, what time, and what the address was...which should have sent alarm bells but I gave her the benefit of the doubt. She has a talent with newborns and is a personable person but absolutely cannot be trusted to do business with. She was recommended to us through family who used her years ago. From all the positive reviews that are several years old...it tells me she may have been operating very well back then but something clearly changed between then and now. I understand she is a one woman show running this business- which I have full respect for and was trying not to be pushy. But to not communicate anything for 2 months is completely unacceptable. When I texted her asking why I wasn't receiving a response through email, she said "there's some issue with her email." Don't you love excuses? I'm now not receiving any responses through text either. I'm appalled and very upset this is happening. She is charging $799 for the "My Love Newborn" collection and all packages requires a $225 deposit you can kiss goodbye. This is by no means a cheap service and the very least I expect as a client is good communication and deliverables. Please save yourself the heart ache and not conduct business with Avnida Photography. I will update my review when I finally receive my photos.

  If I could do it all over again, I would absolutely choose a different photographer. A newborn shoot is supposed to be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to capture special, irreplaceable memories. Sadly, every time I look at the photos of my newborn, I’m reminded not of joy, but of how incredibly stressful and upsetting it was to work with Harshita. From the beginning, her lack of professionalism and communication was shocking. She missed every single deadline she promised, including postponing the scheduled shoot. After the session finally took place, she never answered a single phone call from me or my husband again — not one. That level of disregard made me feel completely disrespected as a client. She verbally promised our proofs within two weeks. It took seven weeks. Once I selected the photos, I had to wait another month to receive them — only after repeatedly chasing her with messages and unanswered calls. It felt like she had no intention of delivering anything unless I hounded her for it. When I finally got the edits, the quality of some of them was very disappointing. Some of the backgrounds — meant to look like seamless backdrops — looked poorly placed, skewed, and unprofessional. I asked for them to be fixed, and again had to wait almost another two months while being completely ignored. In total, from the shoot on March 6 to receiving final edits on June 27, I waited over 3.5 months — all while feeling like I was being ghosted. I even explained that I needed the photos for a special Father’s Day gift for my father visiting from overseas. She never responded. She sent them after the date had passed, with another excuse that she’d “already sent them” days before - then why send them randomly again? What hurts most is the lack of care. Harshita charges premium prices, but provides anything but a premium experience. This isn’t just a one-off situation — after this experience, I looked deeper and found old reviews from years ago to quite recently describing the same issues. I urge anyone considering her to read reviews not just on Google, but on Yelp and other platforms to get a full picture. I wish I had. She may take lovely photos on the day (and we actually enjoyed the shoot and thought we had a connection) but the stress, silence, and disregard that follows is not worth it. This was one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve had as a new parent

  First of all, her work speaks for itself. I chose Harshita because the quality of her photos really stood out compared to a few other photographers I was considering. She doesn't use filters, the photos have such great lighting and color and her eye for editing is really pure. I used Avnida Photography for my son's first birthday photoshoot and cake smash. The photos turned out great. Also I had a few requests and Harshita was so pleasant to work with, was able to fit me in and work with my requests. Glad I found her and looking forward to our next photoshoot. Definitely recommend.

  Harshita (Avnida Photography) doesn’t disappoint with the quality and time taken to perfect each photo. I’ve used her services for a newborn session, cake smash and holiday photos. Each and every time I was very pleased with the final output and quality of her images. I also feel she is reasonably priced and offers an ample amount of photos to choose from. For our latest holiday session, when my one year old daughter wouldn’t cooperate, Harshita allowed us to come back to take additional photos — all to ensure we were happy with the final product. She’s patient, skilled, and committed to ensuring client satisfaction. Be sure to book your services well in advance but even with limited time, just communicate your needs and Harshita will likely make it happen.
