I hope the "changes" really are temporary while they get things in order - if not new owner CMX Cinemas is going to turn the place into something mediocre like the AMC Dine-In down the street. The app and ticketing site is charging me a booking fee (I'm a platinum member - the fee should be waived, they allegedly took it off a bill that I never saw - they just came by to tap my card on a handheld device instead of bringing a bill). I doubt I got points nor the 10% discount for the food and beverages the other night - the website since they changed over to this "CinemaPlus" garbage isn't even giving me a count toward keeping my platinum status anymore - the old app worked fine. The limited menu is allegedly "temporary" while they work on their "network" issues and they don't want to "overwhelm the kitchen" ...okayyyyy so no more burgers and sliders for now (I was craving the Turkey sliders). The quality of the food seemed a little different - not as good as it used to be but not bad. Our server was attentive despite the call buttons not working due to "networking" issues and the food and drink came out quickly. I hope CMX doesn't ruin this place - they pledged to not make any drastic changes but I fear like a lot of things these days the price goes up and the quality gets lower... and this is probably not the local management's fault. I really hope this isn't the end of iPic as we knew and loved it - we'll give them another chance but CMX like their last other short lived location in Jersey isn't making a great first impression. This especially sucks because I started going to iPic more now that the Alamo Drafthouse has gone downhill - I hope this isn't the end of real dine-in moviegoing.

Ever since the change in ownership, here's what changed: 1. They gutted the menu - and took away so many of the things I used to order, like their nachos. The menus are gone too - they give you piece of paper instead of a proper menu now. 2. No blankets. 3. The call buttons for service aren't working - their network is down, and the servers showed up to take orders AFTER the movie started, so people had to yell their orders over the movie. 4. Their popcorn buckets are gone. They have cheap paper bags that they put the popcorn in now. The new ownership took away some of the things that made this place great. I don't see how iPic is any different from AMC now.

What is going on at IPIC? Having issues over the last few weeks including network down, limited seat selection (if available at all for certain movies) - general seating!?!..not the IPIC we are used to....Also, menu cut to very basic items, the usual good size complementary popcorn for gold members, reduced in size as well....Experience quality has declined drastically.... All this looks like big corporation cutting costs and corners to save $$ at expenses of customer experience.....We are going to start looking for other options...unfortunate!

My husband and I have been going to IPIC 4 years now and it was the best movie theatre we have ever been in. Recently they were bought out and everything changed. You can’t reserve your seats anymore, they only have selected times to reserve your seats. The app change and so did their membership and now I’m hearing that the food changed too. We love to go out and watch a movie every week and this place felt so elevated and worth the money we spent. We going to have to start looking for another movie theatre. Bring it back!!!

I purchased 4 premium plus tickets for a movie at the Ft. Lee Ipic theatre (The first two seats of C row and the right two D row seats behind noted in the picture). All the premium plus seats have the seating inside the pods as described on the website and mobile app. 2 out of the 4 premium plus seats I received once I arrived in the theatre were not located inside a pod. I brought it up to the front desk and one of the employees agreed with me stating the seating is supposed to be with the pod. Another stated no, those seats are premium plus but it doesn't have the pod. There was no indication stating that those 2 seats were without pods. The website and mobile app has all 4 seats I purchased with the same indication that they are premium plus seating. I asked the employees what can be done to compensate for this and I got blank stares. I feel this was very irresponsible for the theatre to promote this as premium plus seating and when I arrive it isn't. Then the employees left me with blank stares. I'm currently writing this as I'm trying to enjoy the movie with my family and the first time experience is ruined for one of my sons who has special needs. I am very disappointed at such a high quality theatre. I hope to hear from someone about this matter because this can't happen again to hard working people who spend their money thinking I'm giving my family a treat they deserve. Thank you for your time as mine is spoiled because of this mishap.
