Unfortunately, you might as well be watching a large tablet (it would probably look higher quality). Because the seats are all on level ground, you're constantly looking directly over someone's head, so hopefully you don't pick a seat behind someone tall. The theater that we were in was very small, and felt like it was cut from another theater to make two. The walls are very close together, making it feel like you're in a closet, not in a movie theater. I'm not sure who would design a movie theater this way, because you might as well be watching from home on your 4k. The seats are just okay. They rock/recliner just enough to make you want more. Additionally, the concessions will run you minimum 10 dollars for most items, and with a sub-par viewing experience, you can't really justify it. I'm sure there are larger theaters within Cinemark Ashland, but I can't recall because it's been so long since I was assigned to a large theater. For a better 'cinema' experience, I would recommend Camp Landing. The seating arrangement there makes much more sense, with the seats in the back on a higher plane than the seats in the front, so you aren't struggling to see over someone's head (although unfortunately, in my past experience some of their screens have been ripped, they are much larger than Cinemark Ashland). I have been a Cinemark Ashland goer since my childhood, but unfortunately, I would have rather watched my most recent film at home.
