I visited on May 17th and had a pleasant time with my husband and son. However, at the end of our visit, I asked a female employee at the counter where the restroom was, and she responded only with 'Huh?'. I then repeated the question, specifically using the word 'toilet,' but she once again replied with nothing but 'Huh?'. It was a very unpleasant experience and felt quite dismissive. Because of this, I do not think I will ever visit again.

In this time where everything is a cash grab, this place is unique. Ticket games give good prizes, claw games are winnable. The entrance fee seems high, until you consider the rides, environment and winnable games. The food is excellent for the type of venue. We all had a blast.

Yesterday my husband and our friends came to visit Malibu Jacks from my friends birthday (yesterday). We traveled from 2hrs away hoping with would be worth the money & the drive. The attractions and arcade was amazing and so much fun. Short lines to get in. Upon entering my friend & I saw two huge stuffed pikachus and asked how many tickets were needed to get them. The cashier gave us an answer for the amount and instructed us we’d have to upload money to our play cards and go to the arcade to get tickets. We uploaded well over $100 and played all kinds of games throughout the day. Finally when it was time to cash out we requested the two pikachus off the shelf. The cashier (a different one from morning) declined stating she was going to get on the ladder to get them. I pleaded with her because otherwise we wouldn’t have spent any on the arcade, we were told earlier we could win them, and it was my friend’s birthday. She got extremely rude and snappy at me. I asked another employee for assistance and she suggested we should speak to a manager. I spoke to the manager Matt and he was amazing. Stopped what he was doing and went over to the prize area and got the pikachus with no issue. Here’s where the problem starts. The 4 women at the cashier booth started making fun of us, ridiculing us, saying foul things because we had sought out a managers assistance, the manager spoke with them. For an hour and a half one of these women (different one each time) followed our group around talking inappropriately to and about us. Every attraction we attended that they could see us they stood watched, pointed, and talked about us. Very inappropriate and ridiculous considering it was over 2 stuffed animals. Their persistence ruined the rest of my friend’s birthday trip. We eventually had to leave cause they just wouldn’t leave us alone. I plan to call today to speak a manager again because that was uncalled for, and not how any professional employee should act.

Would have left 0 stars if it was an option. Wait 20 minutes of our 2 hours of unlimited rides for a VR ride... only to be told after waiting that only 3 people can ride because of the headsets not working. Went to another ride where our kids were stuck on the ride for a minutes with no communication, there are not enough workers to manage each ride so we were left waiting in a line hoping that someone would eventually show up. Spoke with a supervisor "Buddy" he customer service was less than caring and there was no information to indicate that there were any issues.
Do not book a birthday here and be hesitant about spending any kind of money as you will not get the value and your expectations will not be met.

I just want to start with we enjoyed most of the time at MJs, however we had a bad experience with another family while we were there. It was my husband and I with our 15 year old daughter and 18 year old son. My children were waiting in line for the go carts and a mother of a teenage boy started having an issue with an employee. She was standing outside of the line and started screaming and cursing at the employee. She was right behind my son and was screaming in his ear. He turned to her and told her shut up in a not so nice way. (Disclaimer i have spoke with my son about more polite ways to handle these situations, this is not something we have taught him) the woman then turned her screaming and cursing at my children. I walked up to find out what was going on and she turned her hysterics toward me. I tried to get her to de esclate so I could figure out what was going on. As I was trying to get her to stop screaming at my children and I her teenage daughter threatened to slap my daughter. Then the woman got in my face and threatened to slap me and started throwing out racist comments. The employee working the ride had no control and just tried telling everyone to calm down. This entire situation had been taking place for over 5 minutes. Another employee i believe his name was Joe, he was not a manger, he was part of maintenance. Finally came and pulled the woman to the side to speak with her. She spent another 5 minutes screaming at him. I tried to let him know that we had been threatened and we did not feel safe with them in the building. Joe let us know they would not kick them out unless they took things farther. We asked if they have security and yes there was in fact a cop onsite however he was not available at the time. I had to tell Joe he needed to make sure the officer was available and on the floor to ensure the other family would not have a chance to take things any further. Long story short, it saddened me that they allow people to behave that way, they allowed their employees to be disrespected as well as our family. We did enjoy using the facilities and the activities I just belive this situation could have been handled better. Threats should not be tolerated, I should not have had to request protection. Just be prepared, you might be on your own and have to stand up for yourself and children.
