Very good customer service :) I spoke with the employee in the store about an old guitar I had. They were nice enough to dust and clean the guitar and verify that it still works when plugged in!

Bad service, employees will not interact with you until you want to play or test an instrument which they'll say you can only play if you're intending to buy. I've also noticed they've been selling multiple cheap and unreliable guitars from temu and marking them up...

Shop owner was very negative and passive aggressive. Extremely unhelpful and just an overall jerk.
I walked in with my little brother and girlfriend looking at guitars since it was my brother's birthday a few days ago and he is an avid player. He had told me that he went to this store a few days prior and had a lot of fun testing guitars with one of the workers who was extremely kind and helpful, and asked for him to come back. But as we walked in, he told me that it was not the same worker as before. He was around 6'0 and had a grey-ish beard, probably early 50s, and wore a baseball cap (and might be the owner after seeing the equally passive aggressive responses on negative reviews).
He was looking at guitars for a bit, then spotted a kalimba and picked it up to look at. This is when the worker said to him, "are you buying or are you just wasting your time by playing?"
To which, my brother told him that we were just browsing at the moment. He then told my brother to put it down.
We decided to look around a little more, and my little brother found a guitar he really liked but wanted to try it, so he asked the worker if it was ok if he could test it out. The guy denied him and said that he was just messing around. My brother tried explaining that he has been playing for years and talked about the other worker who allowed him to play, to which this guy said, "yeah, thats because he doesn't sell anything."
This guy wasn't even trying to sell us anything either, he was just being a jerk.
He then went on to say, "there's been 50 kids in here today all just wanting to play, so if you wanna play youre gonna have to give me some cash."
He talked about how everything in the shop was new, despite 90% of the items there being marked down, on sale, and noticeably used.
We left the shop pretty upset and decided to look at the reviews and saw that there are other reviews talking about the same guy. FIRE HIM, he's awful and incredibly unhelpful and rude. People like that are the fastest way to ruin someone's passion for music, no wonder that place was dead empty when we went in.

I had heard previously great things about this store, and had even been in and had a positive experience once before. I came in with a few friends who I had been excited to hear play. When we walked in the person working (presumably the owner) did not even say hello or ask if we needed anything. We started looking at instruments and even testing a few. I, a very well-versed marimba player, decided to test out a xylo they had out and my boyfriend's brother was testing a kalimba. I was going to ask about possibly getting another set of mallets (because I play with 4 and there were only 2) and the man at the counter asked something along the lines of "are you here to buy or did you just come here to play around?" This was directed at us with a very passive-agressive tone. One of my friends responded saying we were just looking, and the guy then told us to put the instruments down. What kind of music store doesn't let you test instruments before buying? He later remarked that " you guys are like the 50th kids that have come in today." This kind of attitude is extremely disrespectful. Kids and young adults are one of the largest demographics for instruments and music equipment, so treating them like they are "just kids" is such an awful mindset to have. I have personally been playing violin for 9 years and marimba/mallets for 7. After looking at a few of the owners comments to reviews, i found him making fun of an individual that had a bad experience by saying something along the lines of " so sorry that your children's ocarina you purchased did not meet your professional expectations" This mindset that instruments like ocarinas, ukulele, and other smaller/cheaper instruments are less than is so disgusting and I dont appreciate that either. Dont come in expecting a friendly experience if this guy is in, don't waste your time. The idea that you must put money down on an instrument before you even test it is ridiculous. I won't be surprised if I see it go out of business in the future. This is not the way to retain customers. I was really considering some of the instruments in the store, but I would rather not bring my business in.

Ive been here a few times and there is this older gentleman who is really kind and enjoys having people around and Im more likely to buy from him then the other guy, then there's this dude that still old but prob late 40s to mid 50s and I walk in and went to the guitar I liked to play and I have cash and I am genuinely considering buying this guitar, he doesn't say anything yet and I start looking around and picked up a kalimba and he goes "you here to buy something or playing with things" and I said Im just playing right now because it was a little instrument I havent really seen and he goes "put it down" with a smirk thinking he did something I'm 16 years old I'm with my 19 year old brother and his girlfriend so were all pretty mature and know not to break stuff and so I start to look around at my brother and I'm already mad because why the heck have a music store to not let anyone touch something unless they buy it and so I start walking around some more and I see this nice Telecaster that was only around $300 I ask if I could plug anything in and he goes "you just said you were messing around" and I said "I play guitar and I have money to spend I'm not messing around" and he goes "everything here is new" which it isn't I've been there before I don't think they sold anything besides the last time I was there and I bought cables because I thought the last man there that helped me out was nice and I wanted to support the store and I start telling him about the last time I was there and there was no problem and he starts crap talking his co-worker for being a better salesman and goes "he probably let you play because he doesn't say or sell anything" but he was very talkative and I was more likely to buy from a person like that then a miserable bum who is anti social and doesn't want people in the store but like what a salesman I had money to spend and instead of a smaller business to help out it's going to a chain store and also that guy was the manager so nice job running a business chump so anyway he started saying "if you have money put it on the counter and go play" and I was like oh hell no I'm not putting hundreds of dollars on your counter so I was saying "why would you not test out a guitar before buying" and so I started walking out like genuinely furious like I drove 3 hours to go to this place because I thought it was actually pretty decent but I guess I was wrong, if you're an experienced player don't waste your time here and he was also being disrespectful to my brother girlfriend being snarky and saying like "do you even actually play" and btw she has been in band for 7 years and played all her life and got to state competitions and I have been playing since I was 6 years old also he downplays other instruments that he doesn't think are worth anything or good. so I hope you read this stop being miserable and have some excitement in your life and let kids enjoy music because honestly now there's not many other places for me to go to for music and my whole day was great until you spoke a word to me. If you could, reply and tell me his name and the older gentleman's name. And please, stop working at a music store because your gonna kill someones passion to play. But don't waste your time on this place. Also if he gets fired or something I am so serious I will give a 5 star. I had a 5 star experience with the older gentleman he was a great dude don't know what DAYLE had against him.
