  There was a mix up with our reservation, but Shawn and Quan found a way to accommodate us. We were grateful because our child was excited to do this. We did the beat the bomb with foam experience. We'll definitely be back next time we're in DC, we had a great time. Thank you again, y'all!

  I had a great time. It was challenging games and real interesting. It was definitely a work out. You definitely gotta use your brain your wits and everything. The staff was excellent. They were very helpful. The drinks were good and strong . Service was excellent and I had so much fun, exceptional date night. ! Got a little bit of pain oh my clothes, but it was awesome! First time and I had a blast!

  You can beat the bomb is actually amazing place man. It’s actually my first time here I could say I was confusing the first room, but the first room is called a hack room I believe and it was my favorite spot cause I like that it down crazy, but I like to hack stuff. The second room was the touch the symbols you gotta make sure you highlight and everything else. The third room I wanna say was the laser if not the laser I will say laser but overall I will come back. I’ll bring friends. I will bring whoever they come here and this is a 10 out of 10 place so whoever come here y’all will enjoy it. Y’all will have a fun time and everything else make sure y’all just don’t wear white when you come here just make sure you got dark colors on and everything else and you’ll be straight then it’s a beautiful wonderful place.

  I want to give a fair review because I don't think Beat The Bomb itself is a bad or boring experience. My daughter celebrated her 10th birthday here, and she and her friends ultimately had fun, which I am very grateful for. The concept is definitely fun and different. However, based on our experience, I would be hesitant to recommend the birthday party package, especially for younger children or a group that has never been to Beat The Bomb before. This was our first time ever experiencing Beat The Bomb, and we were completely lost. The children didn't know how the games worked, and neither did I, so I couldn't even step in and properly guide them. I expected more direction and hands-on assistance from staff, especially since this was a birthday party package. One of the main reasons I chose this type of party was because I wanted something organized where I wouldn't have to spend the entire birthday running around coordinating everything myself. Unfortunately, that is exactly what happened. I spent a lot of the party going back and forth trying to find the manager, asking what we were supposed to do next, getting help with wristbands that were mixed up or deactivated, and trying to figure out where the kids needed to be. There were also periods where we were just waiting for someone to give us direction. At one point, I actually apologized to the manager because I felt like I kept bothering him. He was nice about it, but looking back, I shouldn't have felt like I needed to apologize for asking for help during a birthday experience I paid for. I also completed the requested information for the children beforehand, including their names, but the information wasn't properly reflected when we arrived. We didn't receive all of the photos from one of our teams, the kids weren't able to experience all of the missions, and we did not receive a complimentary future admission ticket that was supposed to be included. I also understood when booking that I would have a choice regarding the final experience, but I wasn't actually given that choice. I do want to give credit where it's due. Some of our guests arrived late, and the manager worked with us by allowing our Paint Bomb experience to start later, which I appreciated. I also told him I was willing to start on time, so I don't attribute all of the confusion and delays we experienced to our late guests. The biggest takeaway for me is this: if this is your first time at Beat The Bomb and you're booking a children's birthday party, ask very specific questions about who will be guiding your group, how much assistance the children will receive, and exactly what is included in your package. Don't assume that someone will be consistently walking your group through the experience. My daughter had fun, and that's what saved the day for me. I wouldn't say, “Don't go to Beat The Bomb,” because the actual concept is fun and I can see why people enjoy it. But for the amount I paid for a 10-year-old's birthday party, I expected a much more organized and supported experience. I chose a birthday package because I wanted less work as the parent, and I unfortunately ended up doing far more work than I expected. For adults, older kids, or people who have been there before and understand how everything works, the experience may feel completely different. But for a first-time group of 10-year-olds, we needed much more guidance than we received.

  We visited this location and had a great time! The individual games were a lot of fun, requiring collaboration and quick thinking as you race against the clock. The final task seemed almost rigged against us and we found ourselves covered in paint (I got a little in my mouth and the smell made me gag more than a few times). Nonetheless, it was a great experience and I'd highly recommend it!
