- DBDon BaselJul 1, 20265.0Uns hat das Museum sehr gut gefallen. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns der wunderschön angelegte portugiesische Garten mit seinen vielen verschiedenen Blumen und Pflanzen, die harmonisch miteinander kombiniert sind. Im Museum selbst kann man viel über die Geschichte der Insel erfahren. In mehreren Gebäuden stehen zudem freundliche Mitarbeiter zur Verfügung, die interessante Erklärungen geben und Fragen beantworten. Dadurch wird der Besuch noch informativer und lebendiger. Besonders schön fanden wir, dass die Gründerin des Museums viele originale Gegenstände über die Jahre sorgfältig aufbewahrt hat, damit sie heute ausgestellt werden können. So bekommt man einen authentischen Eindruck davon, wie das Leben früher auf der Insel war. Insgesamt war der Besuch eine tolle Erfahrung und für alle, die sich für Geschichte und Kultur interessieren, absolut empfehlenswert.

- KDKurt DelimonJun 4, 20265.0Great museum that covers the history of Prescott and surrounding areas from the time of mammoths and early cultures through the early 1900s. The grounds are beautiful and roses are in bloom this week. Two of the buildings have docents who were very knowledgeable and personable. There is a good mix of videos, written panels and artifacts from the area. Your ticket gives you 2 day access if you want to split up your time here. It is also a short walk from the square and whiskey row.
