This place is awesome! Super fun everyone is really kind. One suggestion though is I would like to see a more masculine teacher there sometime that can better lead and give direction more confidently. I think the young men there would benefit from it which would in turn be good for the ladies too!
Update in response:
Your female instructors are awesome I love them, they’re great leaders and give great direction! I guess for your male instructors I haven’t gotten a very confident one yet over the years so that’s what I’m referring to. At least when it comes to the ones that teach country swing specifically.

I have always had a great time at Scootin’ Boots! The swing is fun but the line dancing is the best! It’s a great workout, low pressure environment and it’s so much fun. Jamie is a wonderful instructor and always makes sure you’re enjoying yourself while learning to dance! As someone who is just learning line dance, I would recommend the class at scootin boots over and over.

I love Scootin' Boots! On Tuesday nights, they teach begining line dances (followed by open dancing), and then later, intermediate/advanced line dances. Then they have open dancing, and play your requests for the rest of the night. Rachel and Raymond are excellent teachers. They welcome all levels of line dancers, and encourage people to request the dances that they like. It is really fun!

I'm new in town and I was trying to find new friends. The minute I started line dancing, a lot of people came so friendly and is such a happy environment! I loved every minute in this place!

This place is like a really big dance studio. You can bring your own water bottle in. It is not a club. It is not a bar.
Came for beginner line dancing and the teacher didn't seem to know the dances and kept messing up. It was like she was learning the dances as she was teaching them. She was also teaching dances that had multiple tags and restarts .. Which is not beginner friendly to me.
I thought the open floor portion would be more like what you'd experience in a line dancing club, but the instructor talked through each dance and played things you wouldn't normally hear socially at line dancing clubs.
