  First time visiting for Mother's Day, and it was disappointing. The theatre was clean, seats were good, servers were good, but hampered by the system. The problem was with ordering. We simply wanted the "bottomless" popcorn and sodas. It was a bit confusing, and one had to keep what amounted to an open tab. When the popcorn arrived they were in different sized bowls. We thought that was odd for everyone ordering the same thing. But, not a big deal, until it came time to refill the smaller bowls. When asking a server, we were told we needed to request the refill through the app. One can't just ask for the refill, but must order the refill from the phone, again. Having phones, ours and others, constantly beaming throughout the movie was distracting. Think I'm going to stick with ordering the giant bag at the popcorn counter, and maybe get some Junior Mints at a regular movie theatre.

  It was better when it was the Alamo...but kinda the same... except they ask my old ass for an ID every time I want a beer...pretty lame imo ...I'd give more stars but the ID thing is unnecessary

  Find and drinks are really good. Very comparable to eating somewhere else. Service was great. Sound quality was awesome.

  Majestic has always been one of my favorite movie theaters, but yesterday’s experience was extremely disappointing. We ordered fries and chips—very simple items—but after waiting about 30 minutes, nothing had arrived. I sent a service request message, and still waited nearly another 20 minutes with no response. I eventually went to the back myself and noticed there were no servers around, so I went to the main kitchen to ask. The staff said they were busy, but I explained that there was no one serving our theater at all. For such a simple order, waiting almost 50 minutes made no sense. She said she would take care of it right away and asked me to go back and wait. However, after returning to my seat, it took another 10 minutes before someone came to ask what we were still missing. What really upset me was that when I said fries and chips, the server actually asked me to lift my blanket to check if I had “hidden” the plates. Chips are free refills, and fries cost only $3—there is absolutely no reason for me to hide anything. I found this extremely rude and unprofessional. By the time the food finally arrived, the movie was almost over, and the rest of our food was already completely cold. Overall, this was a very frustrating experience, and it seriously affected our enjoyment of the movie.
