  tl;dr: A surefire way to get the pet food and livestock food you need, with unsurpassed customer service and many other accoutrements. Service and Price: Service is where River Feeds shines. As soon as I walk through the door, I am greeted and helped as much or as little as I need. Everyone here is very friendly and very knowledgeable about their products. I ordered chicks through River Falls, and the process was essentially painless. They talked me through all of my questions and took care of my order. Every time I come in to buy feed or anything else, they insist on carrying it to my car for me, without exception. And prices, while not as cheap as the big box stores, are still very reasonable. And they can deliver too! Selection: If animal food is what you are looking for, River Feeds carries a little bit of a lot of stuff. That is to say, they carry a few different brands of many, many different types of feed. You won’t find every brand under the sun, but dog, cat, livestock, poultry, wild bird, horse, and more can be fed by supply from River Feed. They also have animal accessories like bedding, chicken coop supplies, bird feeders, and the like. They also have grass seed and cover crop seed, along with a few local vendors selling their wares in the store. As long as you aren’t looking for something exotic, they will likely have what you need. I also ordered chicks through River Feed and was very satisfied with their process. They have a wide variety of not only popular breeds, but uncommon ones as well. They called me as soon as the chicks were available and I was able to pick up happy and healthy chicks. Location: Located just south of New Richmond on WI-65, the business is on a mini frontage road. The building is very unassuming looking but has plenty of parking, the lot is flat and close to the entrance, but it is a dirt parking lot and can be muddy in unfavorable conditions. Interior: The building is well kept and clean. The showroom is small and cozy, and their warehouse is easily accessible, but clean and very well organized. I appreciate the effort they put into keeping their working spaces tidy. Overall: River Feeds is a great place, just in general. Their service is just outstanding, and their selection has never left me wanting. You cannot go wrong if you go to River Feeds in need of, well, feeds.
