FLYNT ALUMINUM PAINT is a commercial-grade aluminum coating originally developed in Hillsboro, Texas. It is formulated with bodied linseed oil that resists water and alkali exposure. This oil composition provides flexibility that accommodates the expansion and contraction of metal surfaces without damage. The paint's vehicle functions similarly to long oil spar varnish formulations. FLYNT ALUMINUM PAINT performs effectively in both exterior and interior environments, curing to form a durable, flexible film with a lustrous appearance.

FLYNT ALUMINUM PAINT is formulated without lead driers or asphalt, which allows it to maintain stability during long-term storage without darkening or discoloration. When properly sealed, the product resists skinning in the container. Coverage reaches approximately 800 square feet per gallon on metal substrates. During the drying process, 6-8 layers of aluminum flakes migrate to the surface, creating a metallic barrier that provides protection against weather exposure, oxidation, and ultraviolet radiation. The coating adheres to previously rusted metal surfaces and arrests further corrosion.
